32° here in Upstate NY this morning, today we are to get some freezing drizzle this morning and then regular. The high temperature for the day will be up around 40°.

I was on the road a lot of the day yesterday and today I hope to be able to do what I have to do here at home. I never know what is going to happen though.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning

44 degrees here now and heading to 52 they tell me. No work for me today so a couple of errands are getting taken care of early this morning. Afterward, some firewood will be moved and some powder will be burned.

Make it a good day

Great morning folks,

Rain with 33° and hopefully no icing here near Halfway USA. Big band of moisture moving through the region so Doug won't be eating pancakes on the patio this morning.

As would be expected, I started the stair tread project.:D It took more time than it should have to get the carpet & pad removed. Well those two parts came up quick, it was the 1400 staples that had to be pulled that took time. I got the new Oak treads cut & fitted. The under trim is cut too. DD will get those parts stained. Meanwhile, the old treads are screwed into place so stairs are usable.

I have some barn clean up to do today after it warms up some. Deb's Ford Edge will probably get it's first oil change while the weather is cooperative.

Good morning everyone.....42° here this morning and a little wet out. Got my last 2 furnace part finished yesterday, my wife took the day off work and drove down to Wilmore to pick up my daughter from school so I could finish.

This set of parts is 19' long the others were 18ft and 20ft. roughly 3500lbs a part.

They should be here to pick them up later today. Now that leaves me 3 more projects setting around to work on after an extensive cleanup that is really needed.

I need to order steel for a new flatbed for my Dodge 3500 here real soon and get it done. Since it's and 84" cab to axle my utility bed wont fit so I'm going to flat bed it with the front 2ft being a drop deck to hold the welder and air compressor then I will still have a 9ft flatbed. Sides will be skirted with sealed boxes built in.

If a damn transmission and transfer case wasn't so expensive for it I would swap it to 4x4 since it has a solid front axle. Only other option is to keep my trans and buy a divorced transfer case and then swap in the frontend and build drive shafts. It's a 2001 with 150K and a rust free body.....unheard of for this area for the most part!
Have a good day!

morning all. 4 above here this morning, "they" say it will get to 40 today, we'll see! Was nice yesterday but cool all day.
Chased elk yesterday but they never left back to the hills, just got them away from the damcows for the day. Over a 1000 head of them, sure they will be everywhere this morning. Just means lots of fence fixing everyday.
Went to town yesterday and got some Christmas errands ran, stuff mailed and some brought home too.
Will probably work on the Dodge pickup today, didn't do anything on it yesterday.
Better get, have a great day, it's FRIDAY!!!
GOD BLESS. Dean

good morning folks. It's 35º here with THICK FOG you could cut with a knife. I took it extra easy on the way in. Didn't want to run over another bambi this week. George, I was thinking if it were just a few degrees cooler it could have made for an icy mess.

Gotta run. Have a good one. Prayers sent.

TGIF, GoGo! It's 47 in Louisville, going to 52, with rain starting sometime here in a bit. I think we already had a little light rain today, but it's not falling right now. Radar says the whole Southeast is getting rain.

Office party happens around 1 today, so it should be a light workday. Looks like we'll have to drive around in rain, but at least it's not freezing rain.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Morning

Good morning all. It's 43 and raining in Indy. Should reach the low fiddies with rain all day. Beech Grove Firearms is serving chicken and noodles for lunch today. I just found out they serve lunch every Friday. I'll be there! Might force me to spend some money. I'll be needing a case for the 2nd AR shortly, anyway. Might as well leave my money there.

Have a good day.

Morning all, late check in today, seems like I can never remember to when I first get up! 52 here now, rain for next 3 days, oh well I don't have anything to do outside, that I can do that is! It gets so old, being unable to do much with this spacer in my hip, and knowing that it will be the end of January before I can possibly get a new hip. But the docs seem to know what they are doing, as I seem to be getting along better, day by day. Well, have to get busy, remember those in need of prayers, Buff out!
