35° here in Upstate NY this rainy morning, it has been raining most of the night. It is supposed to get up to about 51° for a high temperature today with rain all day and continue tonight.

Yesterday wasn't a bad day, we started off with a nice sunny day and then it clouded over. I was busy all day as I will be today but that is all right with me. I am feeling quite a bit better and it is good to be active once more.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning

Morning George and others to follow. 52 here in NC Ohio and rain , don't think enough rain fell to set the all-time record maybe half an inch. Have an early PT appointment , meet some friends for breakfast then I need to tend 21 lbs. of red raspberries thawing out for wine. Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Great morning folks,

I'm rather surprised to report 49.2° at this early hour here near Halfway USA. 53° for a high is predicted and the southern wind will remain with us much of the day. It will cool down to the mid 20's tonight but back to the low 30's tomorrow.

Well, more errands that work got done yesterday. Deb & I stopped by the county museum and donated several things from my great uncle's estate. The chief historian was very surprised by the things we donated. Those things include graduation programs from the largest school in the county. The programs covered dates from 1901 to 1922. Several photographs from old businesses. He was particularly enthused about one from a silk garment factory. Coincidentally, the museum had an exhibit about that particular building on display. He said they would add the photo right away.

We did buy up lots of pieces of duct work & I do hope to have that installed along with the blower today.

Anyone else notice the low price on gas recently? Ya, well take advantage of it because it isn't likely to last a long time. I have several cans I am going to fill this morning. Diesel hasn't move much in price still over $3.00 per gallon around here while gas can be pumped for $1.88.

Coffee is done & the wood stove is filled. Time to enjoy both for an hour or so.

Good morning from Bartonville Texas where a cold front has moved in for a while. 34 this morning, high of 48.
Movie was great. Really showed what it was like on the western front 1914-1918.

Not sure what the plan is today, just go with the flow.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Good morning world. We’re at today’s high of 53 already on the southside of Indy. That’s all the excitement I’ve got. Might talk Julie into shooting some pistolas later on. They’ve been collecting dust for a while, much like myself.

Time to get moving. Have a good day.

morning all. 10 and windy here, wind chill around -15. High could be 30 not sure if they mean the temp or mph! Tried to snow last night but nothing on the ground this morning. Probably have tumbleweed drifts in the roads around the farm.
Had to make a trip to town again yesterday, the alternator on the blue loader went out and locked up. New Holland store didn't have one but our other loader is on their lot waiting to be worked on, so I went and got the one off of it. New one is ordered.
About all except chores and chase elk for yesterday, not sure what today will bring. Maybe stay home and keep the wood stove hot! :)
Time to move along but it's FRIDAY so have a great day, keep warm and safe.
GOD BLESS. Dean

good Friday morning folks. 40º and rain here. MPC...you might not set the record but we sure are trying. Poured all night and the creek banks are overflowing. Just a few more inches and we'll be there. What's interesting is, we had no real tropical systems influencing the total. Hopefully 2019 will be a little drier.

Not sure how long I'm going to last at work today. May knock off at lunch. See what I get done.

Have a good one.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 54 in Louisville. Like many of you, we had rain pretty much all night and I think sprinkles will continue until about noon today. Should be less than an inch shy of the rainfall record now.

Working from home today, so don't know what I'll get into other than that. I need to go get some ribs and smoke 'em one of these days soon. Did a little work on a knife handle yesterday and it'd be good to get that finished up. Scales are a fairly pricey birdseye maple, but at this point I'm not seeing the figure I was hoping for.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Which movie was it Ken? I want to see Eastwood's latest too.
Patches of blue are peeking through but will still take the old p/u over to IU / Bloomington to visit an A.R.E. dealer. I've been advised a crew cab, 69" bed ain't large enough for a colony shoot's necessary gear. Going to post a "volume needed" question under the Predator section. I just reread the thread re guns, ammo, etc. All good info. My main Q revolves around topper or tonneau cover.
Wife is visiting old friends at French Lick and there is a newish Grand present. I passed, even though I enjoy those folks, as I am still fighting a major head cold. Wouldn't want the tyke to have any of this.
I need to find where I stashed the 19-223 fired brass and begin the assy process. Ol' Jim sure liked the 12 or 13 tw. I'm thinking the 44s may not like it so much ... Time will be the teller of that tale.
Shower time - Tom out.
