21° here in Upstate NY this morning and the high temperature for the day will only be about 23°. Yesterday we had 1" of rain and then the temperature dropped and we had a dusting of snow.

I was on the road yesterday once again and today will be about the same as yesterday.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning from Trinity. Brr, it's just 29 degrees, though the high is 58 and sunny.
I overslept yesterday, work continues on the staff house flooring. I have o cut in around the doors then my helper can finish the last closet. I will get it wrapped up in a couple days next week.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Good morning all. Chilly 6 in Indy with -16 wind chill. I’m not overly pleased with the weather but I’m glad I can still complain about it. I was told a long time ago that’s what old guys do. Guess I made it! Gotta get moving. Have good day.

morning everyone. 2 above but will drop at first light. No wind chill yet.
Lots colder over in town again.
Worked in the shop yesterday again. Now my back is hurting again. Putting new hydraulic hoses on the yellow loader is a pain!
Neighbor had a cow die close to the road and the coyotes are having a picnic! But when you try to get close enough for a shot they run to the living cows, our are on one side of the road and his on the other. Maybe today one will make a mistake and I might even hit one.... or not. Haven't been able to hit poop for several days now, and it's not the gun, already checked that. So I'll have to figure something else to blame
Better get, have a great FRIDAY and be safe.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Have to clean out the stove pipe and figure out what caused the stove to smoke up the house so bad last evening. Just cleaned it a couple days ago and it was burning fine, then it just totally filled the house with smoke. We dug out all the burning wood and carried it out side. Opened all the windows, door and turned on the fans. We went out to the workshop for about a hour and it cleared out. But still smells bad this morning, cold in here too! Will tear into it after chores are done and it warms up some outside.

Great morning everyone,

55°, clear and nearly no breeze with a comfortable 72° later out here in the trailerhood. Checked the halfway house via remote & it is 13° outed & A proper 50° inside.

A few hundred .223 brass were trimmed. After that Mike & I ran errands. We visited a gun shop & I may need to go back for a Remington 552 to see if they will take $180.

Going riding with the Canadians on the Barry Goldwater Range today. Again I am not allowed to pick up brass out there. Apparently they don't allow you to pick up unexploded ordnance either. So it's kick up dust then picnic out in the desert.

good Friday morning folks. Made it thru another week...almost. I still have to work tomorrow AND Sunday for the gun shop. This $hit is getting old.:( Guy called me about fishing on the Bay tomorrow...I should blow off the gun shop and go, but I think he's going to get blown out by the weather anyway. My luck it'll be beautiful and he'll slam the big ones.

Well, I ain't getting any work done here gabbing. Have a good one.

Morning Gents! Its 27º here this morning. I imagine I'll have to build the Wife and the Cat a fire in a little while! We just returned from a little trip. The Wife and I went down to Abita Springs and visited the Abita Springs Brewery and enjoyed the balmy 60º temps. And rain! We kind of pigged out on seafood and she brought a few gallons of Gumbo home. You'all have a good one.

Good morning, GoGo. It's a chilly 14 in Louisville with a "feels like" of 9. I'm working from home, so I don't have to get out in it. Thank you, Lord!

Scott, it's pretty hard for me to imagine you being in a brass-rich environment but you aren't allowed to pick it up. That had to be quite a strain. You mentioned something about Mike in your post. I remember one Mike who shot with us in Montana, but he's a teacher and is likely back in Michigan, unless he hit the lottery or something. Glad y'all are having a good time down there in the sun.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

You are thinking of Mike the woodshop teacher. This is Mike the machinist who retired from Dow Corning. He is Zac's Godfather. He & Doug have always called him Uncle Mike. We've known each other since high school & we hunted WY for the past several years.

Saw this on that gun shop display case. Anyone ever seen a Roooger in such an odd configuration?

Easy, Scott, it's a Frankenruger. At first I was wondering how the heck they got the barrel to mate to the receiver, then the simple answer popped into my head: JB Weld or Marine Tex. The only real linkage needed is getting the trigger to trip that side hammer, right? Probably created by or for a felon. :D

Good morning everyone.....at the shop and still draggin ass. I feel better for the most part just low on energy. I got home last night and ate and zoned out in the chair for a bit before going to bed.

Working the truck bed some more today and hope to pull it off to weld the underside and finish up a few things. All my taillights should be in today. I got the back panel on and the license plate mount and tail light mounts sunk in.

I haven't decided how I'm going to paint or coat it yet...may do a color on the outside with a bedliner coating on the deck.

Have a good day!

Morning gang, 26 here in SC KY, supposed to be that all day. Up a lot last night, with nerve pain in my legs, excruciating to say the least! Scot I used to see a lot of pistols similar to that one on the handgun line at Friendship, I still have one of the percussion .36 caliber close to that one. l am finishing up a 1890 model Winchester pump, 22 short for a friend, had the toe of the stock chipped of, I flattened it down and acra glassed a piece of walnut of a junk stock, just have to finish sanding down the contour to match, stain and finish with a spray on lacquer, clean the working parts and she will be good to go. Everyone have a nice day, remember those in need of prayer, buff out!
