-2° here in Upstate NY this morning, the wind chill is +14°. It is going to start warming up today, it will be up to about 14° they say for a high temperature. It will be starting warming up tomorrow and Mon. thru Wed. will be in the 40's.

I did some work at home here yesterday and I was very glad I didn't have to be on the road. Today I don't know but I am hoping it will work out the same.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning

Good morning George and all to follow. Its 10 here in NC Ohio with three inches of fluffy snow on the ground and more falling. Only reason I will be out is to get more kero for the back-up heaters, don't know where all I had went the last few days? That can wait till all the bumper cars are parked. Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Good morning. Couple inches of snow and 18 in Indy this morning. Thought about shoveling the drive when Too and I woke up about 5:00. Thought was as far as it got. It will all be gone by Sunday. Off to stalk a pancake and bacon. Give yourself a little extra time Sam. You might be driving into some weather. Good luck with the procedure.

Have a good one all.

morning all. 2 above to start our way into the lower 30s again. Sure could use some moisture!!!
Got the loader out of the shop but still have some oil leaks, trying to find special t shaped o rings for some fittings. Cleaned the shop then put the loader back in so it will start when the boss man get around to using it.
Didn't get to town yesterday, finally got a check from the boss, so today I waste the day chasing down parts, after the chores are done.
Whacked another coyote but it got away:( , was in the spin cycle and I missed my second shot when it took off and my gun was empty! Really need to remember to reload everytime I fire one off!
Better get, running late already. Prayers for Sam!!! Hope they get it done this time.
Have a good day and be safe.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning, GoGo. It's 26 in Louisville headed way up to 40! We had just a skiff of snow earlier this morning and supposedly there may be just a little frozen rain beneath it. Miss Cindy and I are headed west to Paducah later this morning, so we're gonna take our time leaving. I'd rather sit here that sit out on the highway because a couple of cars got together and have things blocked.

The 5-day warmup has turned to 6, but it will come with a lot of rain, looks like. I hope JR enjoyed a few days walking on solid ground, cause it looks like it'll be mud for a while now.

Prayers up for Sam today. Hope all goes well.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Good Friday morning folks. It's 14º here and lightly snowing. Where the heck did that come from? I had no idea, but the radio station says 1-3" today??? I guess I'll crawl back under my rock. Shop was dead last night, but I earned my $12 (after taxes). Got a reprieve this weekend, 2 gun drawings but others get to cover them this time, since I worked the past 2 Sunday's. I still have to work a few hours at the shop tomorrow, but I don't have anything better to do anyway.

After work last night I spent an hour or two buying airline tickets and researching the "low country" around Savannah, GA. We're going with another couple at the end of the month for a long weekend. Allegiant Airlines has a limited flight schedule to SAV, but it happens to fly the exact dates we needed. Flight tickets looked cheap, but they sure nickel and dime you to death...pick seats, $20 each way, check bags $25 each way. Jeeze. But it was still less than half the price of American or SW airlines. Anyway, we hope to find warm weather for a few days and maybe do a fishing charter for something or other. We tried FL, but that happens to be THE busiest week of the season and nothing was available.

Prayed for ya Sam. Drive safe. Tell the doc's to measure twice and cut once!

Have a good one

Charlie

Great morning Varminteers,

58° with a clear sky, high later 72° with sunshine here in da trailerhood.

Yesterday's adventure took us over to Bard California into the Imperial Valley. Mike, Dorla, DD & I helped out a neighbor from back in Michigan. I learned that trimming citrus trees is about the same as doing Apple trees. Mike & I did the climbing while the girls stacked brush. We were rewarded for our efforts with Date shakes & a big sack of oranges & grapefruit.

Miss Judy would have enjoyed being up the 18' ladders.

We are headed for a ride near the Mexican boarder with the Canadians for today. We are venturing a little further east this trip.

Good???.....morning......got out a little late and decided to check my snares again. Got this unhappy fellow in the truck now.

A nice male probably the mate to the female we got the other day. There were lots of tracks around him like another was here too.

So now we both have been snared this morning it seems.....4 inches of fresh snow on top of frozen snow and I break through.....waiting on rescue now.

Have a better day than I!

Good morning

Looks like we might get above freezing today. No work for me this weekend so I will be loading and unloading brass cartridges to pass the time.

Good luck today Sam. Hope to hear some good news from you soon.

Looks like those illegals along the border have taken up a new tactic. They disguise themselves as Michigan Tourists, complete with baseball caps and short-sleeved plaid shirts. They use their ladders to scale the border fence and once they reach the U S side, they immediately start working in the orchards. Those crafty devils.

Make it a good day

Well I'm back at the shop after my adventure this morning.... Looks like tire shopping is now on the agenda. These were take offs from a 2013 chevy 1500 I think and the tires are a street tread design....that sure did not help matters this morning.

I have dump truck parts to track down today as well so I can start on it. Also we are hunting a tournament this weekend that starts this afternoon sometime. The fresh snow we have should make it a good weekend to hunt until it melts off on Saturday sometime.

Hope everyone has good day and prayers sent for Koger!
