18° here in Upstate NY this morning on the first day of a new month. The high temperature for today will be up to about 34°. Supposed to be a decent day today.

I was busy all day yesterday and then last night we had the executive board for the gun club meeting. We made our plans for a family day, applying for a 501c7 and also an NRA grant this year. Today I will be out on the road again part of the day.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Bartonville Texas, I am back. It was a challenge to drive with the weather. I arrived at 10pm yesterday with a truck box full of Minnesota snow, it's nearly all still there. It is 32 now with the high just 40.
Not sure what is planned for today other than a trip to Best Buy.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Good morning all......a little snow on the ground this morning that came in last evening but should be gone later. I spent the later part of the day power washing the back end of the dairy's cattle trailer that was just washed the other day. That thing had shit an inch deep packed on the floor. I hate dragging my leads and cords in that crap anymore. I bet I spent 2 hours or better in there.....gonna be one expensive power wash that's for sure. Then the damn semi they got it hooked to has got to be the biggest turd I ever seen....every gauge in the dash was missing it's needle and the glass was busted out. I was afraid to drive it around the parking lot the front end popped and cracked so bad!

Other than putting a bandaid on a pos junk trailer I have to weld on more wire spools today and hopefully get more done to my truck.

You all have a good day and those travelling keep safe!

morning all. 29 to start a new month, high 40s or low 50s today. Got to 50 yesterday, sure is taking our snow off the mountain way too early!
With a trip to town yesterday, I didn't get much done in the shop, hope to do better today.
Missed another coyote yesterday morning, this one was right in among our cows and calves. Boss man says it's not hurting anything as he sees it there all the time  Maybe next time I'll get a better shot off!
Breakfast is about ready. Have a great day and be safe.
GOD BLESS. Dean

good morning folks. It's about 28º here with 1-3" of snow, depending where you are. I got up a bit early to plow the drive and still got in to work a little late. Ah well...it's FRIDAY, right Mikey! I got home late from work late last night. We got a whole SKID of S&W M&P-15's in. Some promo deal. We pre-sold like 40 of them or something. I was on the phone for 2 hours calling people letting them know they were in. Then some A-hole comes in at closing time to pick his two up, after I just told him when closing time was. Glad I'm not working at the shop tomorrow. I won't have to deal with a bunch of people in the shop. It's going to be a mess.

Have our granddaughter this weekend. I need to pick her up at daycare after work. Her new dad's grandma passed and the funeral is out of town. Not sure what we're going to get into. Have to think of something fun. She's a little small to carry firewood.;)

Well I guess I better get busy. Prayers offered. Have a good one!

Great Friday morning folks,

Enjoying a 63° start with 80° and wind later out here in some different dirt & rock.

A required move at 14 days went pretty smooth. We left Kalifornia about 2pm and got all set up & settled in at the east corner of Yuma for a few days.

Errands and a chiropractor visit for Deb this morning. A hike is in the works for this afternoon.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 33 in Louisville, going to 42 and mostly cloudy all day. There's a cold front headed our way and we're supposed to get just a little snow on Sunday. Wind chill near zero for 2-3 days next week. We're seeing signs of spring, but winter isn't over for sure.

I just watched Birdog's video of the new Dry Branch range and that's quite an operation they're gonna have down there. With all the pressure we read about against the 2nd Amendment, politically and socially, it's sure nice to see something positive happening in the shooting sports.

Shane, I hope your work today isn't as shitty as it has been. :D

I have a prayer concern this morning that's a little different, but probably not foreign to some of you. A little over a month ago my Texas daughter, Jody, decided to call me a "part-time bigot" in a FaceBook post. I thought we were getting along fine and had been for several years. Guess I was wrong. I got over my hurt feelings and offered an olive branch yesterday. Her response was to stuff my olive branch in one of those chipper/shredders. So, when you hug your kids or have a nice talk with them by phone, please ask God to heal the ol' Carpman's relationship with his daughter.

Y'all have a great Friday and remember whatever you do to be safe out there.

Cloudy, 39º with light, misting rain in the hollow. Have quite a few things that need doing today, but none is URGENT!!!, so I'll work them all in as they come up. Most important is probably packing and sacking for the 1st UBR match in our area tomorrow at Two Brothers Rifle Range. But I won't do that til late afternoon so I can hook up the trailer and leave it. Yesterday's trip to the dermatologist looks like it's going to be productive although I truly hate taking any kind of steroid. In the past couple of months I have developed some kind of eczema on my hands and arms and since it started on my knees as well I had to get it dealt with. Looks like an expensive cream, Clorox bath, steroid dosage and a better moisturizer may work together to give some relief.
Birdog's video shows what's going on at the new range. We just need some grass to grow.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Good morning from the Damcow farm in the sticks of Kentucky. We have about 40° and....more rain again. I sure wish Dean had a few inches of our rain.
Late posting today as i fed the Damcows and let Otis Kat out of his house. After he ate he decided he would just as soon stay in the house where it is dry.
I had a new baby last night and it seems to be fine, be a bunch born when the temp drops low next week.

Greyfox, the skin doctor told me to use some foul smellind expensive cream too. I did buy it at least. That new range is looking good. I will have to come visit a match later.

Skruske sent me an interesting photo last evening....it was a restaurant or some sort....i may have seen one of those Dancing Poles there somewhere. May have.

Ky Fishman has been called a sometime bigot? I have been called a Full Time Bigot. Thank you.
Seriously. I have known KyFishman for about 15 years and he is a great guy...not a hateful individual at all. I suppose being a Trump supporter would classify you a bigot to some folks. He has been called "cheap" by himself...but he is a giving person. Thrifty maybe.
Our children have been educated by communist liberal professors and have been indoctrinated since birth by left wing media...sometimes it takes aholt and they believe it.
I am not going to say what i would do, but i wouldn't be too apologetic.

Have a good rest of the day. I'm done.

Good Morning

Actually, I guess it isn’t morning anymore. Only getting up to 42 here today. Looks like I’m going into hibernation mode on Sunday. The woodpile is in good shape and the pantry is full.

The raccoons are getting into the bird feeders so I’m going to try to thin the herd some more before the little ones are born.

Glad to hear Skruske is enjoying some good weather. I know it’s all in my head but I felt warmer just reading about those temperatures out there. Hope Deb is feeling better.

I wish I had some words of wisdom to pass on to the Fisherman. He was one of the first couple guys I ever met on the board here about 15 years ago and he is the kind of fella that anyone would be proud to call a friend. I hope his daughter realizes that before it is too late.

JR is a good friend to have too ....unless you’re a coyote.

Make it a good day for someone, even if that someone is YOU.

Ky Fisherman and JR..sons are teachable, daughters may take some time...in my experience.

OK to want to strangle them from time to time for what they DO as long as you LOVE them...which is not the same as giving them a pass

Best.
