27° here in Upstate NY this morning, we are supposed to get a wintry mix this morning and just plain rain this afternoon and tonight. Tomorrow will be decent again. I guess Mother Nature has to get one last shot in.

I was busy yesterday and I expect I will be again today but it does help to keep me young even though I am old.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning

Morning George and others to follow. 48 here in NC Ohio with rain on the way. I did get one more bed filled with dirt yesterday and today the plan is to put some more garden planted and equip some beds with hoops to hold frost blankets. Well the coffee is done and I'm ready for a cup. Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Morning Gents! Its 54º and cloudy here headed for the upper 60's. It rained and stormed here most of the day yesterday before moving out in the late afternoon. It looks like it will be back again for tomorrow and Sunday.

The Wife's Dr appointment yesterday took all morning. A 3 hour wait for him to see her for 10 minutes! Talk about over booking! We drove through a heavy rain all the way to get there. I let her out at the front door and sat in the car on the far end of the parking lot until she was finished.

Not much going on today. May work in the kitchen some this morning. I have a fan and a light to install and need to pull another circuit in. I probably need to take it easy after lunch. I plan to attend a local beer festival tonight with a buddy and walking around that much takes a lot out of me. I'll carry a folding chair and probably end up sitting with one of the Brewers that I know.

You'all have a good one!

Good morning from Bartonville Texas 57 now, high of 79. Wife is down with allergies, so I made two trips to Walmart yesterday, that was the high point of the day.
Not sure about today. No plans means nothing gets done.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Morning all. 28 again, into the low 60s later on. Could get breezy as there is a red flag warning out on the east side of the state and it usually creeps in over the mountain.
More work in the shop yesterday and it's empty again :D. Need to clean up my mess again too.
Now to work on equipment that won't fit in the shop, started one project late yesterday just to find flat tires on the packer. So will start off today fixing flats.
Better get moving, not very fast though.
Have a great FRIDAY and remember those in need of prayers.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Great morning fellow travelers,

Dreary, cold & raining with 33° here near Halfway USA. I can see a little rain is freezing to the branches. Hopefully, this big blob of moisture moves off before we get much accumulation.

Brass is finding it's way through the tumbler & will get sorted today. No sense in trying to get anything done outside.

I did see a groundhog out on the ditch bank for about two minutes yesterday. He decided it ain't Spring yet & went back home.

good Friday morning from the warmer side of the front, where it's currently 47º. No snow or ice here, but looks like rain is on the way. I got my radar unit for the boat yesterday but had to work late at the shop. I got it unpacked, but that was it. I was going to try to leave early today to work on it, but with the rain, probably not. Too much to do here to leave early. I have to work and close at the gun shop tonight anyway. Maybe tomorrow after I WORK some more at the shop. (See a pattern here???) Don't worry, Sunday...I AIN'T WORKING. :p

Got my self out of a mess yesterday right quick! Been looking after the ole widow neighbor's place since her daughter took her to NC for the winter. Well the other daughters up here are pissed. The NC sister is making all the decisions and not talking to them. She is putting her in a home down there. Someone was up packing stuff up, so the ones that live here took the house/car keys and told me they're seeing a lawyer today. Yesterday the NC sister texts me, asks me to meet someone to show them the car they have for sale. Kinda hard to do with no keys. I informed both sides I'M OUT!!! I'll keep an eye out on the place, but I'm not getting in the middle of this. No more home made apple pies for me I guess?:(

Well I guess I better at least try to look busy here. I have a lot to do, but not much gumption. The crud had me up coughing a few times last night. I sure could have slept in. Hope not to pass out on the keyboard. Better get some more coffee. Have a good one!

Good morning from the sticks of Kentucky where we had just a bit of much needed rain last night....not much but every little bit helps the grass for the Damcows. Hopefully we may get some more today, with the temps into the 60s.
I'm still on VACATION but Judy Brown will return today As Rick an Dennis are replacing some doors and facing upstairs for HER. I never go up there so it ain't for me.

I talked to Captain Jesse yesterday by FaceTime and Got to see my bouncy Grandaughter Madison. A BIG day yesterday as it was The Change of Command ceremony. Finally. Jesse received some sort of Medal from the Italian damArmy which he said is almost Never given out. I told him to switch armies.since they like him so well. His speech went off without a hitch since He does it all from memory anyway. The Colonel was giving his speech and discoverer He had left the last 2 pages on his desk. That shortened things up!
He has 11 days of leave now and said he may just sleep the whole time.
I think he will be in the USA WITHIN 2 months.

I managed to gedt my Tractor stuck in the mud yesterday but my neighbor pulled me out easily. Also saw a Greasy Black Coyote run across the creek bottom in the middle of the festivities, I welcomed another baby into the world yesterday morning,...always good when you find them standing up.

wonder what Judy Brown will bring me from Nashville? I do hope they had a good time as she sent me a photo and she was 5 rows back right in front of the old opry stage.. cloudy outside but no more rain yet. Y'all try to be safe today.
Charlie, it always turns out to be a fight over the old lady's money doesn't it. Judy Brown is in a mess now with one of her idiot brothers who has laid claim on her mom's place. I am trying to stay out of it.

Good morning all....little cloudy after a little rain passed. Hopefully it clears off some as I have an outside job that just showed up a few minutes ago. Took the Dodge in yesterday to swap out the rear tires and get it the front end aligned. They pulled my truck in 10 minutes after I got there.....3 hours later I heard it start up and go in the alignment rack....30 minutes later..."we can align it because ball joint are loose. They started to give me the run down on how they can change them out. Not happening cause if it takes them 3 hours to mount and balance 4 tires how damn long is the ball joints going to take.

I bought the joints and had them in in about hour and a half yesterday then swapped out a sticky brake caliper as well.

One of my hunting buddies father passed away yesterday morning after a 4 year long battle with cancer. Will be going to the viewing Saturday morning for sure.

Hope everyone has a good day!

55º with some fog in the hollow this morning, might make 70º this afternoon. The dogs and I are making do unsupervised. We ate steak and watched a Braves game last night and all was good. My wife reported in from New Mexico this morning that she got a few life birds yesterday, including a Magnificent Hummingbird. That is apparently it's real name. I'll need to make the drive to the range later today with intentions of making final prep for tomorrow's opening match. My hope is that there aren't too many screwups (mine not the shooters). Many will be coming from too far away to have to put up with a fiasco. Maybe I can flag down Judy Brown on her way home and recruit her to help out. It would make Larry Scott happy at least.

G'day Y'all,

Morning gang! 54 headed to around 70 today! We got a little rain last night, just enough to settle the dust, need about 3x what we got. If you fellers would, say a prayer for the wife and I , 17 years ago today we lost our 19 year old son in a car wreck, even though it has been some time, you never, ever get over loosing a child, and at times you get marginally better at dealing with it. Remember everyone in need of prayer, Buff out!

Good fishfryday

Good morning all. Cloudy and 48 in Indy heading for low 60s. Got a meeting with our insurance agent this morning to go over all our policies and see if we can find a way to give him more money. I think we're OK on everything but the value of the house. A couple of sales in the neighborhood have made me think we may be under-insured. No doubt he'll agree.

Jen is having her first immunotherapy IV infusion today. I'm not sure all the insurance crap has been squared away but here we go regardless. Since it's the first treatment, it includes several hours of BS before the actual procedure which is expected to last "less than 3 hours". We're hoping there are no significant side-effects but they're possible. She's just glad to get started on what she called "kicking this cancer's ass".

Good day to you all ma'ams and sirs.

Hmmm,
she did mention that the Magnificent was quite a bit larger than a Ruby Throat, but I don't know that we could afford the overnight FedEx from NM. Might have to settle for smoked Turkey Vulture. But actually I had Nathan's Hot Dogs in mind.
