17° here in Upstate NY under overcast cloudy skies, the high temperature for today will be getting up to about 34°. It is to be cloudy with a chance of snow showers this morning and then becoming partly sunny. Yesterday we ended up with about 1/2" of snow here but areas around us had 2 to 3 inches.

I was at home yesterday working around here, we got a new gas grill that I had to put together and I was also busy with gun club paperwork. Today I will be on the road the better part of the day with computer work.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from NC Ohio 21 and clear going to 45 on this Good Friday. Will be interesting to see if the three beds of onions make it thru these cold days with the floating row cover. My dad always made an old farmers saying "you won't get any settled weather until after Easter." May the families of all find Peace and Joy this Easter weekend and Prayers to all and country. Mike

Good morning from Waseca, it's 34, clear and windy. High of 61. I need to wash the truck and get the car out of storage and cleaned. Need to get a key to the range, there's 2 Carano rifles that I have never fired.
Need to make a post office run and DMV for license. Sunshine will make it nice to be outside.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Good morning from the Mountains, it's 21*here this morning and a high in the middle 30's today. I got farm duty today, the greenhouse is stocked up and now the weather needs to cooperate, one thing we have learned is since all the crazy stuff going on is most are starting to buy early. Mike I guess this is our Easter snow/storm, we did get a dusting last night, but it's colder than heck this morning. That's about it from her, throw another log on the fire and have a good one today.

Good morning folks. It's a chilly 25 here with sun coming. Yesterday was weird. Misty to rainy then sleet its ass off. We had sleet pellets 1/4" like hail almost. Cleared off overnight. Today I need to fix the 4 wheeler and get busy on the firewood. Then I have to fill some potholes in the drive. Gonna be a busy day.

Prayers offered. Have a good one.

Good FRIDAY! Morning all. 33 here with a high in the low 60s today. Was work outside in shirt sleeves weather yesterday afternoon!
Cow duty again yesterday but also worked on the big disc, got the front gangs all off, six of them. And got new blades on one gang. Glad we're only doing the front!!! Sure it will be more of a job putting them back on than taking them off. That's what I'll be doing today.... I think.
Going to quit early and go to town for Good Friday service at church, that's the plan anyway!
Only one shot was fired yesterday and it was a miss, coyote was about 600yds but made him run anyway.
Better get moving, really could have used a couple more hours of sleep!
Have a great day and Easter weekend. Prayers for those in need and our country.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Great morning folks,

A clear sky has left us with 19° but hopes of seeing 48° later here near HalfwayUSA. The forecast calls for mid 60's this weekend.

Good news to report from Grayling. For the first time since 1968, my old hunting partner has no credit card debt. He is on track to be debt free by June. For ten years he's been 'playing' the zero balance transfer game with two or three credit card companies. While it was a debt management shuffle & somewhat of a struggle it worked. While not totally following the Dave Ramsey method, it got him pointed in a better direction & he did the heavy lifting. No he has some cash on hand as a emergency cushion.

I did get about 25 rounds of 450BM loaded yesterday morning. I will get some more done this morning before escorting Debra Dearest on some errands. We may find a rummage sale to wander through as well.

It was 26° when I got up this morning. The sun is peeking over the hill now and I already feel warmer. 3-day weekend for me so I’m going to visit with Mom this morning and then launch my annual assault on the invasive honeysuckle around here. It must taste like candy to goats because they will eat it all day long. We are down to only one goat now and she can’t keep up with it.
Scott, you really got my gears turning yesterday when you mentioned the Model T. I think I would like to have one and I revisit the thought from time to time but somehow always talk myself out of it. I already have too many toys to repair and maintain.
Make it a good day.

Would you guys be quiet out there? I’m studying for my annual VA physical exam. While I’m there I should have them check my mental status too. Jan will have the physical too, as she’s a vet as well.

Up early for me. Plenty cold but think we may have dodged the frost. Mourning doves and a grackle are flitting about the porch roof line. May need to check and discourage the nest building.
Finally installed Mule batt w over length stud for ease of jumping. Primed some more 9 ugh cases. Couldn't figure out why I only had 700 in the bags till I remembered I started 300 light on the brick. Still have yours in the wings George.... :) It looks like primer sales have peaked this cycle. But, Fear Not. We ain't seen nothing yet. My guess is it/they will start again w a vengeance.
It looks like my Cruise Director has us heading over to her Sis's to help move furniture back in after school is out. Floor is now down.
Time to move some iron. Tom out

Morning Gents!

Its 35º here with the Sun shining headed for the upper 50's. Its still looking nice for Easter.

Yesterday was a lazy day for us. My Doctor's appointment was pretty much uneventful. We discussed trying another treatment but finally decided to stay with the one that I'm on for now. The appointment was mostly just to meet the requirements of having a visit before my next treatment.

Not sure what today holds yet. The housekeeper just arrived so I'll probably go hide someplace. I had plans with a buddy to get together and melt the scrap lead that we have accumulated since our big melt last spring but I think we are going to wait. With the outside temps in the 30's and running a big exhaust fan it would be a miserable day.

Back before Covid the Wife and I were traveling a good bit and we would see a few pretty nice camping rigs set up on gooseneck trailers. Both the slide-in type and a few travel trailers with the wheels and axels removed.

Prayers offered for our members fighting health problems, our Country and any others in need.

You'all have a good one.

Good Friday, GoGo! It's 28 in Louisville, going to 51 and sunny.

Did a little work on my taxes yesterday afternoon, then we attended a parking lot Good Friday service at our church at 6. Attendance was pretty sparse, but the temps were in the low 40s with a 10-12 mph breeze. Darned cold after some of the highs in the 60s and 70s we've had the past few weeks.

Work should be pretty light today, so I may get in a little knife work. I have a couple of kitchen knives for Cindy to finish up, and a deer hunting friend wants a new sheath made for a belt knife he's owned since he was a boy.

Some of us have been a little miffed that the owners installed a politically correct language filter. I found that the filter doesn't seem to work if your spelling is poor. For example, you can talk about taking a shot at a backyard koon, but not a backyard ****. Go figure.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there. Prayers up for the health of our friends here on GoGo and for our nation.

31º with plenty of sun in the hollow. Redbud winter for sure as they are blooming all around the hills here. Pretty sure some of the early blooms and buds have been frosen back by the hard freeze we had last night and the night before, but I'm not a farmer, so it won't do much to me. I do wish whatever is producing pollen right now would get over it as my allergies are keeping me stpped up. If I hadn't had the vaccination I would suspect ccp virus. Today is prep day for tomorrow's UBR match at Dry Branch. I have the targets ready, but it ususaaly ends up taking a good part of the day for everything else. Need to get busy soon.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Late morning greetings from the sticks of Kentucky where we had a cool night at 25° but expecting better today.

I have checked Damcows and plugged in my tractor to warm up. Maybe sling out a couple balls of hay later on.

Nothing noteworthy to report so that ends this broadcast.

Good afternoon everyone.... at the shop working on the camper. Seems I have jumped in head first. While putting it back on my flatbed last night I noticed one of the jack supports was a little loose. Shit goes down hill pretty fast and I figure owning a camper isn't much better than owning a boat! They sure didn't build these things worth a damn. Got some soft wood and getting it pulled out then when replaced I'm going to fab new corner brackets for the rear jacks. They will probably through bolt and have reinforced plates inside the cabinets.
I had considered building one with a welded aluminum frame but didn't want to be at it for a while. This camper will work for what I need for a while but pretty sure next one is going to be hand built.
It set on my flatbed pretty decent and the Cummins hardly knew it was on there.

I should have all my parts for the Suburban today so it can get worked on this weekend as well depending on how far I go into the camper.

Nice and quite today as the other guys took off. The wife stopped by and we went to the Mexican joint for lunch. The owner said it was nice to see me dining in today and told my wife I was one of his best customers....good thing she already knew I ate there all the time.

Well hope everyone has a good day!
