I am so thankful for the many many new friends
and shooters I met in 2006=best year ever for me
I got to Prarie dog shoot w/ ole Birdog & Spiderman=
I got to meet and shoot w/ all the Range Rats @ Buck Creek=
I got to shoot w/ J. P. and Teresa and all the 600yd. IBS gunslingers=
I got a PHD in shooting and reloading from John B.=
I got a PHD in gun trading form Georgein KY=
I got Big Orange caps on coyotes form JR in KY=[g]
I got way more than I deserved=very thankful

Well the rain has passed but not before dumping a load. Stars are shining and 54º so the drying out begins. I wokeup at 12:15 and started to post then but back to beddy. Hope everyone has a good New Year.

Good Morning Doc & GGVG Friends

A goooooooooooooooooooooood mornign to everyone from Southern, Bluegrass. 46.0 degrees here and looks like the rain has stopped.
LIke Doc, we have a lot to be thankful for that occurred in the year
of 2006. Family & good friends are two of the most important things
in life ! Many of my closer friends in life I have met either through
shooting or through shooting events. Lot of good folks involved in
the shooting/hunting sports. I am looking forward to doing more
shooting in 2007 than I have in the past few years. I have let others
take the helm for some responsibilities that have been tieing me down
a lot the last few years. That means more trigger time & time with my
family & friends for me. I am blessed to have a wonderful church & church
family, and the best pastor one could be blessed with. My church life
means a lot to me ! Here's wishing each of you a wonderful year for 2007.
Keep God, family & good friends at the forefront and everything else will
work out. Have a great day today ! Oh, lets start off the New Year right !

Looks like we survived the "standard" gunfire celebration that went on again last night (Just like every New Years and 4th). Means I'll have to check the cars/trucks for lead "hail" damage at first light.

and for you Federalis - grrrrrrrr- enjoy the bonus day Tues. Somehow, it looks like my license renewal was a bit late being sent in (very UNlike the wife) so I am grounded till the wheels turn at the state vehicle lic office and the US Mule makes their maiden 2007 run........we did it by the deadline that normally would cycle in time, but I am sure the holidays and off days had somewhat to bear on it.
