Called in two males about 3am and one about dawn. Both were out in the middle of nowwhere. Went up on a ole set of railroad tracks and st up the calls and laaid down on the lee side of the wind. Both cut acrows the center of the field and meet there maker with a 223 Hornady out of my Tikka. One was shot a bit far back and took most of the innards out of the right side and I was n9t about to put hi i the truck. The 3nd one was in a cattle pasture just down the road and hit him dead on in the chest. DRN. I am learning alot or respect for those hornady bullets. Well I have agood moon and I am off again this morning. Hope to get some pic today if I do anygood. Teach me to leave the camera at home and not expect toget anything. But ole WD is so far ahead I will never catch him,I think he is up to about 34 or 36 so far this year. Man is a yote killing person if there was ever one. You guys have fun,I am going out ijthis 12 % weather and see If I can acare up anything.

We are over run with the lousy things.Need more hunters and less coffee drinkers, well I do my share of coffee driking , but mostly after the shooting is done. Mike sounds like your having a good time with the yotetys. Yea that moon has been bright and all nite too. Doc I saw a little thing about the Wolf Ck Dam last nite and they said the water in Celina would be 43' above flood stage. The Gone Country Café was in the clip too... a lot like the Leicester Grill we have here. Sure hope they get the water pulled down and fixed before something happens. They said it could take seven yrs to complete the repairs. Lot more complicated than most would figure. Hope ya have a good day guys.

Good Morning Murph & Tha GGVG Gang

A gooooooooooooooooooood morning to everyone from a "COLD" Southern,
Ky. 12* here this morning and was 10* a little earlier. Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr,
I am ready for spring. Sounds like another week or so of this cold weather
in store for us. Oh, well, that makes for a good time to get down to some
serious reloading for the 07 Prairie Dog Safari. Already working on the brass
for teh two 220 Swifts. Hey Murph, you aren't cutting them Yotes any slack today are you ? Way to go. I hear you about the Cat, I got one here
that has been sleeping in the seat of my Grasshopper. I just hate to shoot
the neighbors Cat. But, I have already warned "tha cat". Yep, that
W.D. Swift is a killing machine when it comes to Coyotes or Prairie Dogs. He
even gets after the squirrels once in a while. His Dad likes to eat them. Hey
Doc, you & MS Goodbody have a good day today. Art, I hate to be the one
to bust your balloon, but, you may be pushing the season worrying about the
lawn mower. Probably gonna be a month or two before the grass needs
cutting. Hope each of you has a great day today. Smile cause God loves

Last Friday's Noreaster blasted down Saginaw Bay & piled up ice 20 feet high. Another blow & those sea walls and boat hoists are toast.

In the distance you can see Little Charity Island and the Gravely Shore Lighthouse.

No Bald Eagles out & about yesterday. They are keen predators and make fast work of the ducks paddling around near the shelf ice. It is an impressive sight watching an Eagle swoop down and snatch an unsuspecting Red Head.

Good morning everyone! Good to hear from you all. My buddy I made the post about yesterday that wrecked came through his surgery alright and is listed in stable condition. Thanks to everyone that said a prayer for him and replied. He still has a long ways to go, they are going to take him off the respirator today and they said he would be in great pain due to broken ribs. Anyways thanks again! Got one more the other night

Seems they are running late at night. I suppose they are going to lay up with this storm coming. I don't think they will be out this good again untill the deer start droping Fawns. They will be afte the moms and fawns with a death in there eyes with me not far behind. All three that I have killed the last two days have been males. I suppose the females arem laid up heavy with pups. That is good , More targets!!
