Well folks I finally made it home Saturday, trip home wore me out and I barely was able to get into the house. I am feeling much stronger today, had my first 2 cups of coffee that was drinkable in 3 weeks, had some good home cooking, green beans out of the garden we had canned, fresh cabbage out of the garden, and roasted chicken! I had lost nearly 30# in 3 weeks, due to loss of appetite, and small servings of food. The wife fixed me a small plate and it felt like I had eaten a whale! I have given up any thoughts of deer hunting this year, will barely be able to get around the house I am so weak, but am blessed to be able to be doing as well as I am, now just to get thru the next 2 months without putting any weight on the right leg, and then get my hip put back in! Thanks for all the prayers, as everyone on this site knows by now, prayers are answered! Thank you all again, God Bless everyone of you!

Prayers for you Sam

Prayers from Missouri for you Sam. I keep much interest in how you are doing and the problems that you have had. I have had both hips replaced and also a knee in the last year and a half. I am thankful that I have not any of the problems like you have had.
Being at home with the wife's care and good home cooking will go a long way toward putting you back on your feet again. Good luck, God bless and have a great Thanksgiving.
