Hemi

That bad boy looks great. A bit of retro with a lot of horsepressure. I haven't seen the new hemi engine but I stood next to a 426 sitting on an engine stand at a Mopar Performance Center in Detroit. That engine was HUGE, physically. Didn't have 1000 HP, though.

Too bad you won't see that engine on the street. It's for racing applications ONLY. It cannot be emissions certified as it's a dirty engine. Fiat is going to make the engine and transmission available to hot rod builders which means you might see one in an early hot rod like a 32 coupe but it won't be in anything 1964 or newer and be drivable on the street.
The body style of the Super Charger is what the Charger should have been. Knowing the dimwits at Fiat, they'll find a way to screw up the entire concept. Historically Fiat has had some fabulous designs only to have the production car look hideous due to changes they thought made the car better and cheaper to produce. My money says you'll never see the car as it looks in the pic. They'll find a way to do subtle changes that will destroy the concept. Imagine this car as a 4 door. See what I mean.

Wow! Lots of heritage in those lines. My high school next door neighbor (younger than me) got a brand new '68 Charger with a 440 from Mr. Norm's Grand Spalding Dodge. Sure brings me back remembering. Sweet ride.

Yeah Buddy

That Super Charger is how the new line of Chargers should have looked!! I don't like the new Chargers at all. Now the Challengers are sweet!! With a modern 426 hemi and 1000hp....:eek::D
That's what Chrysler should have done.
The only thing that car needs is an Orange Paint job and a Rebel Flag on the roof. ,
