Good morning all. I just picked up a new .204 Ruger. This new Remington has the new updated trigger. Does it adjust just like the old ones? It has allen head screws instead of the flat screwdriver screws. I think I have it adjusted pretty good but I cant seem to be able to move the top (backlash) screw. Have they made this one where you can just adjust the trigger weight only? Thanks in advance.

T, I never touch the top over travel screw.....
just sear and spring screws.

The over-travel screw is now part of the safety system too. When the safety is on, the over travel screw locks up the whole trigger to avoid the accidental discharges on release of the safety that were common with the old design.
This trigger is a very good design, but will take some getting used to.
If you adjust it, don't be heavy handed in the process.
