Hello yourself, Welcome.
Near on to twenty five years ago when the forum fired up it was a pretty busy place. There was lots of talk about coyotes, prairie dogs, woodchucks and such, along with a fair amount of precision shooting with some Ruger talk thrown in for laughs. It was run by a couple of friends who started it with that kind of discussion in mind and it worked pretty well.

Then a while back they sold it to a conglomerate that owns a whole bunch of boards and they managed to screw up the log in/password a couple of times and most got tired of screwing around with it and moved on. A few of us have stayed for the conversation and because we've become friends. There isn't a lot of hunting talk unless you ask questions. There is the occasional coyote hunt and now and then some prairie dog talk. About now the deer hunting gets talked about a it. But the fact is, most everything has been said before amongst ourselves. If you want to ask a question or share and experience you are most welcome, but you may have to start the thread. If you don't input, you may not get much output. We've pretty much a lazy shiftless lot except for was skuske who wears us out just telling us what he did yesterday and plans for today. :)

So, make yourself at home and check in tomorrow morning and you'll find out what the weather is around the country and what we all plan for the day.

G'day,
Rick

Nahhhhh Donnie - he said he was "a good boy". . . ;)). I'm thinking he meant a "good Ol' boy". Either way, hopefully he hasn't sullied his meat hooks on a ruuggger.

So ya see new guy, this is how it can go at times. Just relax and roll with it.

Welcome NewFire. Just so you'll know, Kermit is the King of The Rugermites. That don't mean he is in charge, though. He is the #1 game mule around his neck of the woods but, other than that, he's well down the pecking order....like most of us!

Hello too from Silly Noise (IL)! The Gals n Boyz of Illinois welcome you! Good 'ol GreyFox pretty well nailed it. The weak of heart got run off during the transition to the new owners fiasco (very sad too). But, a few of us diehards hang out because we've become friends - and those that can attend, get together Sommerset KY on Saturday before Mother's Day for a reunion and some excellent shooting (the match is a family affair, called the Bluegrass Balloon Bust or BBB for short) and did I mentionFOOD:D

So, pull up a rock next to the camp fire. The fire is near burnt out, and the members still sitting around have been passin around the jug all night and there is a lot of quiet - just sitting and enjoying each other's company of old friends. But, newcomers are welcome, and there isn't much one could ask that isn't well polished by some truly talented folks....so just open up a conversation and be ready to take notes!
