I think I'd like to try one of these on a long action Savage. Can anyone advise as to who might have a good price on these stocks ? That full length aluminum block which would anchor the front sling swival/bipod attachment seems like it would be a good idea to me. Thanks for the help.

Just checked out my Midsouth catalog, they list about everything but Savage.
Just checked another catalog (Simmons) and found the overmoulded stock and aluminum pillar bedded for around $90.00, long/short action and standard/heavy barrel, four choices. They look like they would be a nice stock.
