66° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature for the day going up to about 86°. It will be another hot muggy day today that is for sure, the heat is to break tomorrow.

I was on the road all day yesterday and now I have two computers here to fix. One I have to put a new motherboard in and the other is a laptop full of viruses and malware to clean out. I have a gun club meeting tonight so it will be another full day.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning

Good morning George and others to follow. Weather same old hot and muggy. Not much to happen around here except some early action before the real heat starts. Be safe and stay cool out there. Prayers to those and country. Mike

morning all. 48 to start, only high 60s later, with a 40% chance of rain.
If the sun comes out, we may rake some hay and try to get it in the bale. But if like yesterday it won't happen.
I got the balers both serviced and full of twine so they're ready to go, just need dry weather again.
Got a rifle I'm test driving, probably will buy it. Not that I need another but this one is kinda different and can be had cheap. A break action Remington, 223 with a cheap Tasco scope for under $200. Shoots nice and in really new shape. Gwyn even liked the way it looks. :)
Better get around, Happy Hump Day, have a great and safe day.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Forgot to tell all you that are tired of the heat of summer.... the mountain had it's first snow fall yesterday morning. Sure feels like fall this morning!

Great morning folks,

74° and mostly clear and the morning haze is burning off already here near Halfway USA.

DD & I got an early start yesterday trimming trees. Didn't seem to matter, by 11am it was too hot & muggy to be out there running a chainsaw. Felt like I was in the heart of Kentucky without an air conditioned cab tractor. ;) We added fire wood to the shed & piled up the sticks and twigs to burn off. Grass got mowed over in the afternoon. Looks like it can get cut every 4 days with all the moisture we've "enjoyed".

I took DD shopping after dinner. She managed to find things she "needed" & I got one item for Cabelas that was important. :D We still have some errands to run probably today.

I have to repair the wiring on the newer utility trailer today. Darn rodents found a way to disconnect on side of the running like.

good morning and happy HUMP day Mike. It's 74º and steamy up here. Going to be into the 90's again today and sounds like the rest of the week. After that a cooling trend with wet weather from the remnants of Gordon. Bow season starts Friday, but I won't be out there. Too much to do and not ready at all. Just got back from a fluid change (blood work followed by McD's) and better get to work.

Have a good one.

Clear and calm this morning in Northern Ca, maybe 93° today RH's in the 30's probably. Been busy getting ready for kitchen counter install this wk, but had a good Dove opener, no danger of doves going on the T&E list though, and converted a lot of powder into noise.

Morning gang! Got a early start but late getting on here. Outside breaker on my moms service went kaput last night, got the electric guys down early this morning, they pulled the meter, and I replaced the 44 year old breaker, they put the meter back in, 15 minutes and done. Going to do some cleaning in the shop today, then get down to some serious reloading, going to do a bunch of 45/70, 6XC, and 50/70Gvt! Remember those in need of prayer, Buff out!

Cloudy and about 75º in the hollow this morning. Slightly less hot today, supposedly mid 80's. Picking up a rifle that I had rechambered today. I have never had a benchrest barrel cut off and rechambered, but this one was exceptionally good and there was no fire cracking ahead of the chamber, so I thought I'd gamble and see what happens. Also, dropping off another at the same time for a new barrel. It's getting close to season's end and I'm trying to get a jump start on next year. I visited the new range yesterday and it is shaping up. We are building the pad for the range shed and as soon as that is done we can begin erecting the shed and will continue with finishing the rest. There will be a 400 yard with 30 benches on the right and a 200 yard with 16 benches on the left. Pistol bays will be in another location. It's taking a while, but this is a big project.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

57 on the way to 71 here today.

The dogs must be feeling that fall is around the corner! They have been extra feisty lately.

More time at the loading bench today after some errands this morning.

Have a great day and be careful out there.

Hot and muggy in SE Texas today. Same old story. Got some exercises from the PT genie so I can walk and exercise for a change. A big, big change for me and even though not ready to Work I am grateful to be able to be busy.

Heck I might even go pull a couple of random guns and clean them just for grins. :D
