Want a good top quality set of shooting sticks? Spend 2 bucks at a Thrift Store on a set of good Maple laminated Crutches and you now have all the hardware and the sticks and pre-drilled holes. A saw is all you need.

All of 'em I see these days are aluminum.

Yessir, that is why you can find the wood laminate crutches. They had some aluminum too.
