I have never used the stuff and am thinking about using it on a few savages. Figured it will deep clean and maybe smooth stuff out. Anyone have input?

JB Bore paste

It is ok I guess. I think wipe out is far superior. The JB paste is messy. I am more worried about rod damage than a rough bore. I do use it on every cleaning during the break-in process. After the barrel is broken in and I cant feel any "toothy" spots I dont use it any more.

JB will not "smooth out" your bore unless you used it all day for a year or two.

It's a good cleaner for stubborn carbon, moly and light copper removal.

If the bore is coppered up real bad, wipe out with the accelerator or the Foul Out system is the only thing that's going to work.
