JR showed up Sunday for a chance with Old Faithful.
I had 10 rounds loaded and we got set up. Alan300wsm
and GeorgeXC were spotting. I took the first four shots
to line her up, but all I needed to do was hold on the end
of my floating main cross=hair mil-line and I scored a solid hit
on my 4 th shot.

JR had 6 shots left and he shaved the hair off of the plate.
I believe it was his first time past 1,000. He qualified
1,000 with Captain Jess a few years back.

284 Shehane .
Next we moved to 800 and JR on the Shehane

it was a nice day,,Alans WSM is really starting to tighten up,,JBs custom turret was working really well also,,at 800 yards the 130 VLDs are shooting better out of the 6.5 Lapua than I can hold,,

I had forgot Big Shayne got in behind the 6.5 and put 2 on Chuckie about 1 1/2 inches apart on the dot and then made Chico do a spin,,

and the red fox was an awesome sight,,we must all be getting soft as there was a time it would have been in extreme trouble,,

I just want to say thanks to Alan for letting me fire a few rounds through the 300 WSM. If I lived out on the wide open spaces, I would definitely have to have one just like this one....McMillian A5 Stock, Harris Bipod. I like a rifle you have to hang on to, to keep it from kicking the Crap out of you and cutting your head.

The highlight of the day, meeting Shane in TN for the first time. I hear that he is the "Go To Gun Man" and knows about everyone in middle Tennessee.
