Does anyone know where I can buy cardboard boxes that are closely equivalent to the USPS small priority mail boxes-----without all the warnings about terms of usage and federal law.

Will appreciate any useful suggestion !

If for mailing purposes, try Office Max/Depot, or any office supply store. For storage, why the particular size??

I haven't bought a lot of this type thing online, Alan, but Uline is one of the bigger sources. Is something like this what you want? https://www.uline.com/Grp_29/Literature-Mailers

Here's another source: https://www.theboxery.com/Product.asp?d=103545&Product=SLM&Name=Side+Loading+Mailers

Another option, I guess, would be getting the boxes free from USPS and then spending $2.98 on a can of white Krylon. :D Damcowfarmer used to work for USPS, so he can probably answer a lot of your questions.

Good luck

Thanks for the replies

This just seems to be a convenient size for "stuff" containment-----easy stacking and access.

USPS doesn't seem to be a good source for free boxes----read the warning label dealing with misuse 0f USPS property.

Just an exercise in thinking inside the box.

Most reasonably sized cities have a company or two that are box makers. You might find a local company that will make them for you.

Careful there, T.D.C. The box police may come and snatch you up. 馃槙

It wouldn't be the first time I got on trouble over a "box". Now way could the USPS put that much of a hurt on me as the other misuse of the box.

Boy, that left a mark.
