Anyone know what kind of life expectancy to get out of the cutter on these?

Also, where does one get a new cutter and how expensive are they? WD

o Not sure how long they last.

o Here are two links to possible source of K&M products:

Also Sinclairs I think handles the K&M.....

as well as their own turner. You may want to check their web site as well.

With their cabide cutter...

I doubt you will wear one out in what's left of your lifetime (you ol' phardt!!)

James Phillips handles them still, I believe.

I too don't know if a guy could dull one cutting brass but, what you could do is see a saw/knife sharpener and have them touch it up. Or, if you have a machinist handy they could probably do the same on a mill.

Just a thought.
I know that Ken at K&M Products sells the replacement cutters. I've spoken w/ him a couple of times and he is very nice to deal with! Don't know how much they are though. He has a little pamphlet with the turners & priming seating tools & other stuff as well. Sam
K&M will resharpen your cutter. I sent three cutters to Ken to resharpen and I think it was under 7 bucks. I bought three used K&M turnes at the Super Shoot two years ago for $100 and didn't know how much they were used.
Call Ken direct at (717) 292-3175 He is in Pa.
I've done 1000 .243's and it's still going strong

It's a great piece of equipment too, and everybody is right, Ken is very helpful and nice.
