It was steel, Mike. Down hill and around the corner. Great fun with Justin’s rifle. I think it’s a 6.5 something Stiller. Steel targets from just over 200 out to 1000. Many more steel targets from the back porch. Lotsa rimfire and pistol fun there.
Uhhhh, dat be me in yaller shirt - foreground, learning the general rule of thumb of: don't try to zero, not even a ROUGH BALLPARK steel zero, of something that you've never shot - in THAT wind. :/ That Cooper in 223, scoped, never hit steel in many shots. Many l say. My little hmr, Lilja, 77/17, did not think the wind was its friend at 180, w 17 gainers. I did not bring any "heavies (20s)" this trip.
It was hard to leave. Pastor came over for lunch, a real regular guy. A shooter, hunter, gun nut like most of the ilk that place attracts. In Wichita now, more later. Tom out
