Has anyone tried the new flush mounted 4 shot magazines for the Marlin .17 HMR and .22 Mag. bolt action rifles..??

Just got my American Rifleman Magazine and they had a product review of the new magazines.. I just got off the phone with Marlin and the girl said that the new magazines were $14.25 each plus $3.50 S/H..

There used to be someone on the board that made the flush fit magazines. Since the search function wouldn't do much good, maybe someone will chime in with a contact.

Shortened magazines

Ole' Man River did/does shorten them to 5 rounds. I suspect we'll hear from him shortly.

If it's like anything else, it may be quite awhile before any start showing up at gunshows and gunshops. It might make carrying the little Marlins a bit easier, but they aren't bad anyway.
