31° here in Upstate NY this morning under overcast skies, the high temperature for today will be up to about 36°. The next two days are going to be a mess with a nor'easter.

Yesterday I spent a lot of my day working on some gun club business, I would have liked to take a nap, but I didn't get a chance to. This morning I will be on the road and hope to be able to finish up and get back home before it starts getting bad. The way it sounds we may get up to 14" of snow between today and tomorrow. I am normally on the road on Tuesday, but I will have to alter my schedule for this week.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Waseca where it's cloudy and 22, high about 25.
Yesterday was mostly resting and spending time with my wife.
Today is back at it. Shooting this afternoon getting ready this morning.
Snow showers yesterday dumped another 2 inches. It might warm up this week and melt off.
Hope everyone has a blessed Monday,
Ken

Morning gang, it's 32* here, my daughter said it was sleeting and ice on everything, looks like 32* is going to be the high for the day. I got Country Store duty today, it will be a cold one at Grandview, with the wind, will have to be careful out there today it will be nastier out there. I guess that will do it for now, have a good and safe one. God Bless,

Mornin', folks. 31 with some flurries at the moment but the big event is winding up. Looks like George is going to get the worst of it but we won't be far behind. Pretty wide guess for totals according to the weather guy, 8-16" for my corner of the state. Lots of wind once it gets fully formed so I'll be setting up the generator and getting ready ahead of the deep snow. No way I can pull it from the shed to the hook up if there is a foot of snow. I spent some time yesterday snow blowing a path for moving it in to position today. Gas can will be handy, wood will be brought in, plenty of food in the house so we're ready. "Let it happen, Cap'n". Lets get it over with. Soft ground so it will be a fun time keeping things pushed back.
Other than that, all is quiet and well. Today will be spent getting ready at the shop, putting plows on, adding weight to the pickups for pushing the heavy stuff.
Think good thoughts for George as he gets ready for the same mess.
Hopefully most of the rest of you aren't dealing with any big weather events and have a good plan for a great day and week.

34° here this morning with a little drizzle. They say we will see small bursts of snow throughout the day but it will melt on contact. Had lunch with Mom, my sisters and their families yesterday, followed by a few hours at home with the grandkids. All-in-all it was a nice, relaxing day.
Back to work this morning and I’ll be working indoors all day. Glad we stuck around to get our big outdoor project done on Saturday.
Safe travels to Charlie and anyone else who is on the road or in the air today.
Make it a good one for somebody.

morning all. 31 with mid to upper 50s later and a chance of a flake or two. About what we got yesterday, along with the wind.
Mostly didn't do anything yesterday after church and the second Sunday pot luck. Checked cows afternoon/evening chores and got a little
time in the hobby shop too.
Really need to spend some time in the farm shop, and a trip to town for a couple tires for the small red tractor are needed.
Better get around, even if it is still dark!!! Have a good and safe day, prayers for those with health issues and those with weather issues.
GOD BLESS. Dean

At the new 7:54AM it is 26 degrees and headed to a whopping 32 degrees if the guessers are right. Looks like some light snow is headed our way. We don’t really need but if snow was primers we’d buy some. I should maybe go buy some gas for the generator as it’s getting low. At this time of year if gassing up a can and someone looks at me, I just say it’s for the boat and I’m going water skiiing. They just look away.

Morning all. It is an overcast 29F right now with a high of 35F, but with some slurries/sleet predicted all afternoon. Just looked out and a few flurries are already starting.

I made it to another year. Today is my birthday, and hope to make it through another year. Tomorrow is a visit with my new opthamologist, since my eye doc of around 30 years retired last October. Wednesday is an office visit to my oncologist for blood work and anemia shots. Be safe and keep warm.

Morning Everyone!

Its 37º and Sunny here headed for 50 with a lite NW wind.

Yesterday was a lazy day. The Wife and I watched the Razorbacks win over Louisiana Tech. That was about it.

Not much planned for today either. One day this week I need to drive down to Pine Bluff and help an old buddy get the ladder rack and tool box off of his truck. He had a wreck last month during the snow and ice and the insurance totaled his truck.

Happy Late Birthday to Mr Murl and Happy Birthday to TinMan!

Prayers offered for those in need and for our Country.

Y'all have a good one.

Good morning all and Happy Birthday Rick. It’s 31 heading for 37 with light snow on the south side of Indy. Gonna be a busy day supervising pups. With Sig around, I forget that Trey isn’t quite 2 yet. It gets pretty playful sometimes. Other than that there’s nothing going on today.

Have a good’n

Good morning folks. It's 45 and sunny on the road in OK headed to the airport. Had a little snow at home. Wife works from home and has 4x4 anyway so no big deal. Be melted by the time I get home...hopefully.

No pig's were seen or harmed last night. I don't know whatvthe deal was. They are there. Think we over pressured them. Hunt the same stands day in, day out they get smart. Not going back there. We signed up for a special deal, $500 for 2 days add a third for $100. Well he switched it up on us and charged us $250 for the 3rd day. Whatever.

Well we have 4 hours to the airport so I'll be sight seeing. Get home about midnight and back to work tomorrow. Life goes on

Have a good one.

Morning all, 39 with a high of 44 I think. Gloomy windly day, will be spending it indoors, working on taxes or the shop one. Church service was great yesterday morning, and the young preacher was on point. Did not do much yesterday everning, but cast a bunch of .25 caliber 85 gr bullets for a buddy, PC half of them, and lubed the other half. That way he can see which one shoots the best. Got to get moving, you all have a great day, Happy Birthday Tin Man, prayers for those that need them, Buff out.

Charlie …. Now you know why I always claim to be from western Oklahoma. About 90%+ of those on the east side of I-35 are a little “different”. Sorry you had a bad experience in our state anyway.
Happy Birthday to the birthday boys. Wishing you both many more.
Not much planned for here today. Need to go to Elk City one day this week and get the wifey a new phone. Her’s is about shot.
Prayers for our Country, Israel, Ukraine and all Y’all

Good morning, GoGo. At 1002 it's 31 in Louisville, cloudy, and going to 39.

Happy birthday to TinMan, hope it's a good year for you and yours.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the Silicon Valley Bank collapse. What I found most interesting is that the collapse happened just about a week after Tucker Carlson started broadcasting the "hidden" January 6 video footage. If certain parties wanted to shift attention away from that news, what better way to do it than with the second largest bank failure in U.S. history? Coincidence? Really? I think not. UPDATE: The Dow is up about 200 points just before noon, so apparently investors are not in too much of a panic.

Miss Cindy attends a weekly women's book study at a Lutheran church that's not too far from us. The ladies in that group have been begging her to bring me to worship some Sunday so they could meet me, so we did that yesterday. Nice service and I met lots of nice people who were welcoming without being overwhelming.

Other than that, all is quiet and well. Today will be spent getting ready at the shop, putting plows on, adding weight to the pickups for pushing the heavy stuff.
So, you work for something like a city or county public works department, Ken, is that right? Very important because if those services aren't taken care of properly, then life in that given area can get rough in a hurry.

Y'all have a good'n, be safe, and remember to pray for our friends here. Hope Charlie finally was at the right feeder at the right time last evening.

KF, we own a family business and I'm self employed. However, we have lots of area that needs to be taken care of with our shops and the folks that live on our section of private road once it peels off the town road. With the lay of the land here, it would be very difficult for emergency vehicles to get to the residents, including Mom, if we don't take care of the snow. If push came to shove, the town would send in one of their big plow trucks in front of an ambulance or fire truck but we'd rather not let it get to that point. As we often get tractor trailers delivering things, we need to have lots of turn around and go around area.
Plus, if we don't move it to the edges of the big areas, it will stay wet and muddy until the 4th of July and we all hate that.

Late check in even for me. It is 44° and raining like cats and dogs right now calling for a high of 50°.

There was an armed break-in night before last within walking distance of our house. I live on 2 acres and the other two neighbors on our driveway are about the same size. The neighbor to the south is on an elongated section of 14 acres. He backs up to Ripplingbrook Street. Two of the houses on that street were broken into with the occupants asleep in them. That is not good. All three of us on our extended driveway are armed. Other neighbors have recordings of them breaking into and stealing two cars. As near as they can tell they were checking for houses that didn’t have a Ring/camera doorbell . Obviously one of them had cameras Inside

Our neighbor to the south that lives on the 14 acres moved there about two years ago. I don’t know him very well, but he appears to be the kind of guy that would embrace the 3 S philosophy. Shoot Shovel and Shutup
