52° under fair skies this morning here in Upstate NY, the high temperature for today will be getting up to about 71°. It will be a cloudy day with a 20% chance for some showers and or thunderstorms.

Yesterday was a quiet day, I spent a lot of time just loafing around here. A customer did drop off a computer which I will have to work on today. Other than that it should be another fairly quiet day but who knows.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

A balmy feeling 49 to kick of the work week, headed to the mid to upper 60's they say. Also a chance for a shower here as well. It's pretty calm out there now but if the pattern holds, the wind will pick up later.
I did get in a brief fishing trip on Saturday morning; not much was biting and the wind was a problem so nothing came home with me. There will be better trips ahead, I'm sure. Rain out on Saturday afternoon but we needed it. Yesterday I cut, split and stacked some wood and then took it easy for the rest of the day.
Basic work day today, mid day doctor appointment and that's pretty much the story around here.
Hope everybody has a good start to the week.

Good morning from Estes Park. Weather is great, no wind or rain and the smoke is clearing. We toured RMNP yesterday afternoon. It is always pretty. Lots of mule deer everywhere, they can be underfoot. Not afraid of people.
This morning we'll head towards home via Cheyenne and Rapid City. Seeing new country and we hope Mount Rushmore.
The road across the park is only open to 10,000 feet. The rest is buried in eyeball deep snow.
Pictures in the park.

55° here and it feels great outside. Sorted the rest of the wheel weights yesterday morning which only yielded 42 pounds of lead. Most of them were steel-113 pounds along with 11 pounds of zinc.

Visited with Mom and my aunt and enjoyed a true day of rest. Sat outside for awhile after the sun went down and just took in the cool, dry evening.

Ken, my wife and I went to Mt Rushmore 2 years ago and came through Estes Park and RMNP on the return home. It was the highlight of the trip for me and I want to go back.
Good luck to those in the prairie dog fields. Make it a good day

Good morning....50°and headed to 80 so my phone says. Should have a livestock trailer to weld on this morning....hopefully thats the last thing I do before blast off Thursday morning but we'll see.
Tilled the garden again yesterday evening after it dried out a little more. My ancient tiller puffed smoke as it chugged along and suddenly stopped after a while. Checked fuel and itnwas still half full...pulled chord and she was really tight. Checked the oil and it was not there despite adding some before starting ....damn thing is burning a lot more than I thought....tipped it off and slowly pulled the chord a bit then fired it backup...ready to go another few years I guess.
Hope everyone has a good day!

morning all. 35 here with mid to upper 60s and chance of showers today.
We made it home in one piece last evening from our short trip to the west side of the state. Was nice to get away and see the Grands and their parents.
Now to see what all took place around here while we were gone. I know there is some work setting in front of the shop waiting for me. Also a couple sprinklers that need
help. Hope you all had a great weekend!
Better get, prayers for those on the road and those with health issues.
GOD BLESS. Dean

It’s a cool forty six degrees right now and headed to seventy, they say. It’s a red, hazy sun this morning and I’m assuming that is from the Canadian wildfires.
The Smithsonian reports these fires are human caused,
According to the nonprofit Climate Central, Alberta’s predicted heat wave was made two to five times more likely because of human-caused climate change. Research has shown that a rising number of droughts and heat waves due to global warming have been a “key driver in increasing the risk and extent of wildfires,” according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, leading to longer and more active fire seasons.

Good morning folks. 58 on the back porch here to start the day. Back to work Monday. Yuck. Busy weekend, I could use another day to catch up. I got the boat floor back in and caulked the seal. I didn't f^&% it up as good as I could have. Took my time and did a decent job. Didn't get that stuff everywhere, but almost. I hate caulking. I did manage to remember to put a set of rubber gloves on, so at least I didn't wear half the tube. After that I worked on some bee holes in the house a bit. Needs sanded out and the house needs a coat of stain badly. Someday. Went to a graduation party for a bit in the afternoon, then returned home and watered the plants and trees. We need some rain. Only had a quick shower Saturday evening.

Well, I guess I should get busy. Prayers offered. Have a good one!

Actually morning, GM from the sticks of Kentucky at ratger cool degrees when I let Brahms out to "check his messages."
Full day ahead.
Yesterday I got ready to cut Hay and drove to the field; a hydraulic line had popped off. I was plugging it back in when saw Tire Fluid spraying from a valve stem on the 18x36 tractor tire. Back to the barn, unhook hay cutter and Hay Bailer on the Big Greenie tractor and hook Greenie to the Cutter. Ain't even turned it ON and there's trouble.
Like @charlie sterner luck.

49° this morning 69° for a high and cloudy. I was up at 3:30, what is with that?
I was to meet a guy this afternoon to stake out a building lot, got a text last night that he was going to urgent care after getting kicked by a cow that got out. I think there are a couple of guys that can relate to that. Lot stake out on hold.
The highlight of my weekend was the birthday party for my one year old granddaughter. Someone shot these pictures and sent them to me. Little Cora saw me and want me to pick her up.

Dear Dinah is still on the mend from exhaustion. She skept till 11, l returned from church n din around 2, was talking w her and she's asleep again.... Early to bed.
We are on S side of Indy minding the grand. Dinah slept all the way up.

I managed to scald myself pretty good (bad!). I was pouring almost boiling coffee in my Contigo cup and poured too fast. An air bubble formed and blew it out. Left lower arm and a nice baseball spot on great right side. Coffee up in the blinds over sink, floor and just realized, my polite traveling shirt. After a lengthy cold water dousing I ice packed it driving up. Still hurts pretty good. Have hit it w Solarcaine 2x. It seems l did this a couple years back. I hope I remember this from now on.

May stop by a real drug store and see what OTC they recommend. Also saw a new GS sign around the corner :p

That's about it.....Tom out

Morning Everyone!

Its 66º and Sunny here headed for the upper 70's with a calm wind.

The Wife didn't feel well yesterday so we didn't go to watch the Grandsons play ball. Which turned out to be a smart decision. They played 4 games which means they played a game, skipped a game, played a game, ect and would have been an all day thing.

The Wife continued to feel bad and I ended up taking Her to the emergency room in the middle of the night. Her Heart rate and BP were elevated but they got them under control. They decided to keep Her so I went back home. Got back home about 3:30 so I'm kind of dragging today. I'll get Her a bag of things that She wants and take them back up there after while after they get Her to a room. And on top of that the low tire warning light on Her Expedition came on on my way home. I don't have an air compressor anymore so I'll be stopping by the tire store this morning. We would appreciate any prayers that you guys would care to send our way.

Prayers offered for those in need and for our Country. Special prayers for Bill as He is in surgery this morning.

Y'all have a good one.

Lightman, you might want to invest in one of those air compressors that plug in the outlet in your vehicle. They will air a flat tire up in 10 minutes or less, at least the ones I have will. I got them at Wal Mart and keep one in all 3 vehicles and in my Ranger. Can save a lot of headache from time to time.
