57° here in Upstate NY this morning under partly cloudy skies, the high temperature for today will be up to about 81°. It will be a nice sunny day with a mild breeze of 5 to 7 mph. There is no rain predicted for today.

I had a nice time "Up Home" yesterday fishing, I caught two bass but nothing to brag about. The rest of the day was spent taking life easy. This morning I have to put a new hard drive in and load the OS for a customer. In fact, I will be on the road for the next two mornings also this week. It will be another busy week..

Prayers for all the need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

70° right now and they say we are in for some severe storms tonight. Got the grass all mowed and did a little trapshooting yesterday. My shooting was a lot like George’s fishing. I had a good time but it was nothing to brag about. Came home to a delicious supper of ham and green beans. Some neighbors came down for an evening swim and we all had a good visit.
Heading out the door to start the new week. Prayers for everyone in need and those on the road. Make it a good day And be careful in the bathtub.

Good morning from Waseca, it's 59, clear and 79 later. Nice calm day of rest yesterday. I did spend some time fussing over a Remington that has light primer strikes. I think I have narrowed it to exceheads pace. space. No idea how to fix it.
Today I am looking forward to shooting this afternoon. We have a good time of swapping tales and sometimes shooting.
Hope everyone has a blessed Monday,
Ken

Morning Everyone!

Its 76º and still dark here.

We'll leave out of here in a few minutes headed for Gulf Shores.

It was a slow weekend spent mostly loading the Expedition for the trip. I'll pack up my lap top as soon as I get off of here and load the Wife's oxygen machine as soon as She gets in the car and connects to Her other set-up.

Prayers offered for those with health problems, our Country and any others in need.

Y'all have a good one.

Yeah Donnie, l always like the 4 10s. Always.
Crack of dawn here making a VA run. Dadgum those 0800 appointments. :/ I'll probably survive w the help of a breakfast at the canteen. ;)
We started Revelation in S. school. It will be interesting. Lunch out w friends. He is deaf enough where he just withdraws from the conversation. There were only 4 of us. Just no fun. His wife has tried to reason saying you wear your glasses.......get tested. He has the wherewithal $$.
A whole point one incha rain Sat night. Really wouldn't mind a week of drier air as the humidity has been on the job every day last week.
Dinah has a knee Dr apptmnt this morning and ferrying a church friend to a Dr visit this afternoon. Just enough time and miles in between to make dead time.
Gotta run - Tom out.

morning all. 50 to start off August, may get to 80 today and 60% chance of something, somewhere in the valley. Only a few
drops fell yesterday here. Creek came way up Saturday night and was out of it's bank, water running thru the fields and down the county road.
Not really hurting much though.
Didn't do much yesterday afternoon, did shoot the five test rounds of 357mag that I loaded a couple weeks ago, they worked fine in the Henry!
Also switched out the 17HMR in the pickup for my CZ 22hornet, hadn't shot it in a long while.
Not sure just what I'll have to do today, but have one sprinkler broke down for this morning.
Time to get moving. Have a good day and be safe. Prayers for those with needs.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning, GoGo! Mondays are one of the sweetest days since I'm no longer rolling out and fighting traffic to get to work. Charlie, I'll check today off on your retirement calendar. Hang in there!

We got home yesterday afternoon about 3 from a nice visit to Paducah to visit family. Didn't do anything much special, but just being with family is enough for me.

It's 73 in Louisville with 96% humidity, going to 89. Can't see out the windows this morning because there's so much condensation. There's a small chance of thunderstorms today, but a much higher chance tonight, with the chance they could turn nasty. I think that's up around midnight.

Y'all have a good'n, be safe in the bathtub, and pray for Lightman's travels, for our ailing friends here, and for our nation. I think the Skruskes are still on the road, too, so let's say a prayer for their safe travels.

I’m still trying to figure out what year it is too, George.Foster.
A side effect of the Kentucky flooding is my dilemma. If we’re heading south this year, where do we get gasoline without water in it? I know it‘s not nice to make light of another’s bad fortunes and this was just my brain on overdrive. But I’m just thinking of all the hurdles these people have to jump over. When I think of it our troubles are trivial.

Great morning folks,

We are in for it today, 101° for the high. It’s windy for now so the plan of shooting long this morning is out with the breeze. We will improvise adapt and succumb.

Shooting was a slow sorta steady if we moved around a bit yesterday.

Mike fed this 14” baby some 38 shot.

We had some shade for shooting for an hour

The rancher said shoot the rabbits too because there are way too many. 223AI turned it into a twisted mess.

We took a road ride to the east a ways to cool down in the air conditioning. The trip did take us no place, we were hoping for some place & would have settled for any place. After turning around we got to our starting place.

No VA run.....it's tomorrow. Grrrr. Too much practice beating the rooster up. Twice in 3 days I've been where it wasn't. Kinda like the Skruske drive east.
However, l did have some help as Pastor did erroneously announce Sun previous that the coming Sat was breakfast. Ah well.
Had a short nap, then a couple of fried eggs then patio patrol til the wind picked up. Clouds had been pretty dark but darker when l saw rain about .8 mi NW bearing down. It didn't last long but was whipping 17-26mph.
Fresh cuppa and actually READING the last third of my audio book. My loan ran out before l finished the 55 hrs. Tom out - again

My prediction is that when the door knocking starts, it won't be your local authorities at the door. The local sheriff and mayor have to be re-elected, right? So, local police and National Guard units will be sent to the next state over to confiscate weapons. And your community will get door knockers from some other state. Those police and Guardsmen might be reluctant to knock on the doors of their neighbors and family members, so the socialists who want to seize our guns will just shuffle the deck to make it all a little easier.

Good afternoon folks. It's 78 and hooomid here. Downright muggy today after over an inch of rain fall yesterday. We broke down the party tents yesterday and rested up in the afternoon for the big concert. It started raining at 4pm and didn't let up until early this morning. We canceled the afternoon at the fair and just waited a bit and went about an hour before the show started.

Despite the rain, the place was jam packed. Too bad all the scenery was covered up with ponchos and trash bags. Would have been much better if it was nice out. But the show itself was great. Got home around 1AM and I am still dragging.

Woke up late this morning and had no phone or internet. Also no TV, since we stream it now. And we used all our phone data so no connection to the "world" as we now know it. Weird to be in the stone ages again. Had a 10am meeting an hour away anyway, and just got home. Luckily the phone and net are back online. All is well again in this part of the world.

Fixing to relax a bit and then mow the yard before Sue gets home. It's almost out of hand.

Prayers sent. Have a good one.

Charlie
