64° here in Upstate NY this morning, the high temperature is to get up to about 74° today.

Yesterday I took the day pretty easy, I got the yard mowed yesterday afternoon and other than that I didn't do a heck of a lot. Felt Good!

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning from Waseca, another nice weather day on tap.
I am off to Iowa Falls and estate issues again. The power company cut power to the house and I have to hassle them into turning it back on. Then the roll off I had brought in needs emptying and brought back.
And today is my wife and I's first wedding anniversary, of our first wedding. There are two anniversaries, but that is am long story.
Yesterday we spent the afternoon with my youngest daughter. That went well, we are rebuilding the relationship after too many years of separation.

Hope everyone has a blessed start to this week,
Ken

morning all. 47 with 81 as tops for the day, was warmer than that yesterday. Possible slight chance of moisture thru the week.
We got one field baled and started another before the dew went off and the hat was too dry. Hope to finish that one today.
Also had to get a couple sprinklers going after lunch. Then got in my Sunday nap :D and even went and worked in our hobby shop. I finished milling out the 80% lower for the 6.5 creedmoor, finally. Not to get it all put together and test drove.
Time to get around, have a good day and be careful out there.
GOD BLESS. Dean

good morning folks. It's 70º here with clouds and possible rain. East of us got hammered again overnight and continuing now. 2-3 inches. Yikes. A bit soggy over there eh? I finally got the boat washed and motor flushed yesterday and put all the rods and tackle away. Did a bit of organizing in the garage and after that, not much of anything except make dinner and surprisingly, that didn't go so well. :( I pulled some chicken breast out of the freezer, thawed it and did it on the smoker. Not sure what the hell happened but that old bird was like rubber. Yuck! Absolutely inedible. At least the sweet corn I did along with it was okay.

Another Monday to check off Mikey. Hope you get to all Saturdays soon.

Have a good one.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 66 in Louisville, headed to 86, which is several degrees cooler than it's been lately. Rain due later in the week, and I sure hope my neighborhood gets some of it.

I made it back to Knob Creek Range early Saturday and my rifle went bang every time I pulled the trigger, which was nice. I sent Greyfox a photo of my target and asked him to "read the entrails" as he puts it. Looking at that target, he recommended that I take up bowling or maybe shuffleboard. I hope that word spreads, cause I like being the underdog (lowercase u). So as not to besmirch my buddy Rick's good name, the truth is that he told me exactly what he saw and made some suggestions. If you can't be a good shooter yourself, the next best thing is to have talented friends who keep encouraging you, right?

Another Monday to check off Mikey. Hope you get to all Saturdays soon.
I have another meeting with my money man pretty soon, Charlie. All those guys want you to have at least $1 million invested with them before they say it's OK to retire. I understand that, but it ain't gonna happen with ol' Mikey. I think what has him confused is truly believing my monthly expenses are as low as they are. He's also befuddled by how in the world I managed to get a hot, young trophy wife (Miss Cindy). I started trying to explain that I was attempting to catch up with JR Carter the damcowfarmer, but his eyes glazed over.

Have you guys noticed we've had a visitor on the board lately? Some guy using the handle Voldoc02. Reminds me of a good, good friend who kind of vanished a while back. Just seeing his handle again makes me smile, so I hope it continues.

Y'all have a good Monday and be safe out there.

PS. Hey, Doc, did you hear the one about the Hoosier who fell off the wagon?

Morning varminteers. Another hit and super muggy day in SE Texas. I can't stand sitting here all day so I am going to try to sit on my shop stool and work on something on my tall bench. I gotta do SOMEthing.

Good morning.....At the shop still welding damcones. Got to leave early today to take my daughter to her doctors app. then maybe get some more done at the house later. Yesterday I got the 20yr old indoor/outdoor carpet tore off the back porch...15'x25' maybe. The mess that was under it was bad....thick dust...made a nice cloud sweeping it up. Then took the power washer to it and made it look a whole lot better. Of coarse the siding needed it too as well as the block around the porch.
After that I moved to the garage wall with the flaking paint and boy did that make a mess....power washer blasted off a lot more than I was expecting and blew it a lot farther into the yard than I wanted as well...wont wont' rake it easy is getting the mower run over it. Once I get it blasted clean I need to get a good block primer and get it painted.

Good to see Doc posting in a few threads....Jr stirring the pot got him out of hiding for a few.

My son was MIA all weekend as he has a new GF I guess....a 22 yr old exchange student from China here going to Purdue for something. My wife and daughter met her at a bday party on Sunday.

Well off to see if my damcone is cooled off enough I can handle it.

HOpe everyone has a good day!

Still chuckling from Coyote warnings... anyway thought I'd say hello from the Left Coast, specifically the Prune picker state, all the fires are about 60% contained, sky is blue again and we're in a short cooling trend, it's still only 70° 50% RH at 0830hrs, 4casted to hit 95° RH will probably be in the 20's and I don't remember the last time it rained. Wife and I are prepping tvl tr for a trip into the mountains and relax as it's so much nicer at 5300' than it is at 160'. By the time we're back it'll be almost Dove season with Coyote callin in between.

Was very foggy here this morning, so that delayed my fishing trip by an hour or so as I didn't feel like dealing with the $%^# related to driving in the fog. Just went to the lake to use the boat and kill some time on a rate day with no rain in the forecast. Was hot at 10:30am with no wind or clouds. Trolling along at ~1 mph doesn't create much breeze. LOL Didn't catch anything worth keeping but did have the time to sort thru one tackle box, swapped a reel on a rod with put line on it. Had some coffee and donuts too.

Got home around 1:30p and sprayed some weed killer after hooking the boat batteries up to the chargers. Now the contractors (?) are supposed to come tonight to give estimates and take measurements for all updating the DW wants to do. They will probably measure my wallet at the same time to see if I can afford this mess.
