59° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature going up to about 74°. It is to be a nice day today but tomorrow and Wednesday they say we will get rain again.

Yesterday was basically a do nothing day for me. We didn't attend church as my wife didn't feel good and I didn't want to go by myself. I worked on two laptops I have here and then I took some cardboard up to the club for backers. I didn't get the yard mowed as it was a little bit wet so hopefully sometime today I will be able to.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning, another great day in Waseca. My yesterday was too much like George's., a day of rest.
Today I have to meet the auctioneer in Iowa Falls to discuss selling Gary's estate, land, buildings, vehicles and tools. What ever he tells me will determine my next month, where I go and what I do.

Hope everyone has a great and blessed Monday,
Ken

morning all. 49 here with 80 for the high today. Showers for later in the week, maybe.
Church and a trip to the grocery store yesterday morning, skipped wally world :). Then in the tractor to bale all afternoon, I got one field done while the boss man finished on he was on and started another, he was still baling when we went to bed. Maybe he finished that one too.
One sprinkler to work on that I know of this morning, then back to baling. A lot of hay on the ground and more to cut.
Better get around, have a good day.
GOD BLESS. Dean

good morning folks. It's a damp, dreary Monday here. Hope we get some sunshine. I need to mow, but I don't think it's going to dry out enough. In addition to the storms we had Saturday afternoon, we had a cloudy, misty, drizzle most of the day yesterday. It was a good rain, that soaked in and didn't run off. We sure did need it.

Yesterday morning, I managed to hose the sand off all the beach equipment from our vacation so it can be put away. And I took advantage of the wet conditions to pull some more crab grass. I'm 2/3 of the way done in the back yard. The last 3rd is going to be tough. Crab grass is choking everything out. I want to get it out before it goes to seed and compounds my problem.

Another Monday closer to retirement Mike.:) Have a good one.

Great early morning everyone, well early in this time zone,

60° and mostly clear.

Sunday found us hiking an area near Superior WY called the Ice Caves rock formation.

Cooper found himself a cave to climb in. Someone had been there before. Charcoal on the floor & soot/carbon on a wall were tell take signs.

Back up on the rim, the two track was easier walking. Grandma Deb did well on the rugged hike. Cooper fell a couple times but he's a tough 4 year old, brushed off & didn't complain.

We saw several Antelope, one a Boone & Crocket contender. One bull Elk about a mile away. Also a Horned Lizard who got named Jill.

Breaking "camp" & moving on today. Heading toward Kemmerer and camping & trail riding in the Hams Fork for a couple day. Then North through Idaho and into Montana.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 73 in Louisville, headed to just 82 today because of the cloud cover. We didn't have much in the way of showers yesterday, but I think we have a 60% chance today.

I had kind of a Skruske afternoon yesterday after church, working on 6BR brass most of the afternoon. I don't know if it's the strong load I shoot or what, but if I want my reloads to chamber easily I have to run them through a body die before stuffing them in the regular FL die. Then I've also taken to measuring every one of 'em with my calipers and sometimes I also run them through the chamber. This is a competition rifle and the last thing you want is for the timer to be running and you grab a round that's so hard to chamber it just about locks up your action. MPC and I shared an episode in Somerset one time -- just practicing, not competing -- where we had to beat a bolt open on his ex's rifle with my "Savage adjustment tool." It wasn't pretty.

Thanks for the reminder and encouragement, Charlie. My money man hasn't scheduled our next talk yet, but it should be in the next few weeks. I'm ready to retire, but most of my nest egg is in mutual funds and there's always uncertainty there. Lots of "what ifs" to discuss. If my nest egg were bigger, the obvious answer is just to put it in investments that are lower risk and lower return. But if you need anything more than about 2-3%, there's going to be some risk.

Thanks a ton for all the great photos, Scott, and taking us along on your journeys. I love hearing about the adventures of folks who have worked hard, planned well, and truly seem to be enjoying their retirement.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

If you or they kids could crawl in the cave you can bet it has been used for hundreds of years. A friend use to dig for arrow heads in an area like that on private land. There was suit on the rocks and it looked like a lot of flint napping was done there.

55 here headed to the low 90’s
Have a great Monday gang
