46° here in Upstate NY this morning, it is going to be a nice day with a high temperature of about 64°.

Yesterday was a nice day, a little chilly but nice. We went to church in the morning and took it easy the rest of the day. This week looks to be a fairly busy week again and I am hoping that I might be able to get out fishing one day.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Great morning folks,

Clearly a clear sky with 50° before sun up here near Halfway USA. 73° for the high so it should be a really nice day.

Whoo whee, this wood handlin' is likin' to wore me out. Mostly. As I mentions in the other wood thread... I showed Debra Dearest & Shelly how to run the wood splitter while I stacked. They had me moving fast to keep up. We filled her wood shed with about 8 face cord. There is a still more to do & I figure we can get to that some other time. We did some more clean up around the place, filling Mike's dump trailer with scrap metal.

The house is 95% done on the inside. The living area is really nicely updated with all the light fixtures & fans in place. Mike custom made a butcher block counter top for the island. You can tell Shelly is really pleased with the results. Had I been on the ball, I should have taken a few pics.

Despite being a bit tuckered out, DD & I are going to load and haul some more wood home this morning. We left a pile of split wood at her dad's last week. I'm taking the saws because I know Bill will want a couple more things cut up.

morning all. 45 and should get to around 73 for a high.
Church and wally world yesterday morning then home for lunch. Hay raked and ready, so I baled one field and started another, but the hay got too dry and the baler broke down too. But had parts on hand and got it fixed and parked back in the shed, ready for today.
Went to the range to check my zero on the 204 AR, still where it is supposed to be, went home.
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Have a great week too.
GOD BLESS. Dean

New week

It's a new week and the Dems have run out another show pony. This one has "memory lapses". Who woulda' thought!

Anyway, it's 61 and drizzling in Indy. Should get to the low 70s and keep on drizzling. We're supposed to play golf about an hour NW. Radar says we may be OK.

I-465 is open both directions on the SW side of Indy until the 28th when they'll shut down WB from I-65 to I- 70 for 10 days. Picking up a buddy over that way shortly.

Guns! Seems like we have a few but the only one I've seen lately is the one I carry. Wonder if any of the others will work. Heck, I wonder if the one I carry will work. I need to get to a range! The neighbors are still somewhat hesitant to let me prop up a target against the back of their garage.

Let's get going. Have a good day.

Good morning, 51 in Iowa, another clear warm day ahead. Church was great yesterday, we had lunch at a little place in Alden next to the Iowa River. With the heavy rains last week the river is running high and fast, fun to watch.
Back to work this morning. Get dumpster #7 empty, finish cleaning the basement, deal with buyers.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

morning boys and girls. It's 62º up here with rain on RUGER Mtn North too Donnie. Always a cloud over the Rugermites huh? ;) Looks like rain the next few days too. I might get to mow by Friday. Looks like Fall is definitely here. We're hitting 50's for lows and only into the low 70's for highs. I need to shoot my bow and gather my hunting gear and get my butt up a tree.

Got the RPR cleaned last night. We scrubbed it at the range while it was warm and then patched it out. When we got home we gave it a squirt of foam and left it soak. Pretty good amount of blue on it when we patched it out. It might be beneficial to scrub a bit with JB bore paste.

Well, I guess we'll get some coffee in me and see what job needs rushed today. Have a good one.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 66 in Louisville and raining hard. Don't know how much we got overnight, but rain's in the forecast all day today and for the next several. There should be plenty of good, green browse for the deer, which is a good thing and a bad thing. In my experience they don't come to a corn pile very fast if there's plenty of natural browse to be had.

We were in Paducah this past weekend, visiting my elderly mom. My brother took me pond fishing in the rain for 30-45 minutes Saturday. I caught a bass about 1.25 and he caught one about 3.75. Both were real healthy looking fish and we turned 'em back so they'd be there to catch another day. My bro doesn't own the pond, but he has permission to fish it and he's trying to manage it as his back yard honey hole, not taking too many fish out and bringing in some small bass to add from time to time.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.
