39° here in Upstate NY this morning to start a new week, it looks to be a decent day today. The high temperature to be up around 46° and no rain forecast.

Yesterday was a nice day, we went to church in the morning and then I got the lawn mowed and leaves mulched in the afternoon. I also attended to some gun club business in preparation for our officer nomination meeting this Wednesday evening.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning, 37 and wet, not much better all day. After church we drove down to see my dad, he's a month shy of 101. His mind is sharp but a long neglected back injury has him in a wheelchair. Not much exciting to do in the care center.
Work around the house today, rv may be ready tomorrow. Wife is worse than distraught that we didn't leave last Thursday for Texas.
Too wet to do anything outside.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Good morning all. It’s 46 in Indy heading for danged near 60 with a slight chance of rain and a slight chance of golf. Got a few .224 V cases ready for loading so I may put some together and hope for shooting weather yet this week.

Vote tomorrow!

Gotta’ get to the biscuits and gravy range. Have a good’n.

morning all. Little weather station says it's 33 this morning. Mid to upper 40s for the high. No moisture in sight at this time.
No elk yesterday, saw some but no legal bulls, have to be four point (western count) or better. Think most of the big boys out of the herd have been killed. Will take a drive again this morning for a look at what is down out of the mountains.
Just all that took place around here, meat cutting will probably start tomorrow for the hunters that have to travel back home.
Time change still sucks. Long evenings.
Get out and vote 'em out, and in.
Have a good day and be safe.
GOD BLESS. Dean

good morning folks. It's 45º with rain here in southcentral PA. I don't know where we stand for all-time record rain, but we've got to be real close or just past it. We were within a few inches a month ago. Supposed to rain all day and off and on all week. It's the last week of PA archery and it doesn't look like I'll have much time in the tree.

Yesterday was beautiful. I saw several does and fawns in the morning but had to get down by 8:30 to get home and get chores done. I got the yard mowed and leaves gathered and also did the widow neighbor's. Her daughters were all there and they're worried sick about her. Trying to decide whether to put her in a home or get someone to stay with her. :(

Well, I guess I'll try to get some work done. Prayers offered. Have a good one!

Charlie

PS...Dean I agree with you. I was in bed by 8 pm last night and up at 4AM. Just turn it 1/2 hr one way or the other and leave it I say!

Good morning, GoGo. It's 53 in Louisville, going to 63 with winds out of the south. Those warm, moist winds out of the south are gonna set us up for some dandy storms tonight. They're talking rain, strong straight-line winds, and the possibility of "some rotation," as they say. Our ground is still soft from all the recent rain, so if we do have strong wind, then more trees are gonna come down.

Can't find my hunting coat and I have to be up a tree on Saturday with or without it. I'm gonna have to start checking several times a day to make sure my head is still screwed on. The good news is that the search for my hunting coat turned up a box holding $70-$80 worth of knife handle supplies that's been missing for about a year.

Charlie, I'm sorry you haven't lured a nice buck under your stand there at home. We were rooting for ya. Oh yeah, check off another Monday for Mikey. :)

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Great morning folks,

47° with a southerly wind bringing warmer air for the day here near Halfway USA. The rain from earlier today has pass through without a downpour & the sky is clearing a bit.

The ceiling is up & the lift was returned. All the recessed lights are poking through the correct holes. :D More prep work on the walls - had to put in headers to support the barn door rails. Deb & I pulled back the carpet and removing tack strip from the concrete. Cleaning up and gathering the spread out tools finished out the day.

Drywall on the walls starts in a few minutes. Less cutting than the ceiling so I hope to have that part done by this evening - I can tell DD is anxious to get mud smeared on the seams & screws.

A light Rain is misting down on the Damcows this Monday morning but they are used to it i think. At least it isnt Sssnnnooowww. I fed my first 2 rolls of hay over at Otis the Kat's house, the beginning of a long struggle for the next few months. Machinery does not function in cold weather so problems will arise i suppose.
I am thinking about keeping a trickle battery charger on the JD tractor at Otis's house, it does not start well. Skruske, what you think about it? Speaking of Skruske, drywall is flying up onto the walls at this very moment......Damwimmen are always Distraught about something. My solution is to tell them if they want it done, just have at it.

I have my own problems still with the Hot Water heater disaster. Floor is back in....new heater is in....but we have a couple leaks so I have to go Back to the plumbing store and get 4 more Shark Bite repair fittings. I think all new pvc would be a better option, but I am just the money man paying for all this crap.
Possibly have hot water by tomorrow as the "plumber has another repair job after his regular job...in front of me tonite. Expect him at 8 pm.

Judy Brown is goingon an emergency distress run to help middle son with idiot Damgrandkid today....He agreed to take care of him for 2 days and can't get off work. Sounds like an easy fix to me, the LAW will be laid down to him when I see him again. JB will not be coming again, fix it yourself, you broke it..
I am not a good Grandpa, I much prefer my Tomcats to obnoxious Damgrandkids.
