28° here in Upstate NY this morning, the high for today is to be up around 44° and sunny.

Yesterday after church I just took the day easy, looks like this week will probably be a busy one again. I did get a call yesterday about a person wanting to join the gun club so I got him all taken care of. We have had a good year for people joining.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning

Morning George and others to follow. It's 26 here with clouds moving in, just out to stoke the green house fire and plenty of frost everywhere. Cupboard is getting empty so better make a trip to the store today. Good to see Sam is doing better with the hip, kinda makes me worry about my hip joint replacement. Be safe and so many Prayers needed for the people losing families and property out west and for all our own and country. Mike

Good morning, GoGo. It's 37 in Louisville going to 47 with light rain coming in around sundown. On my way to my deer stand yesterday morning my truck's thermometer dropped to 21 degrees through a couple of stretches.

I slept in this morning after killing a small doe yesterday. Got her deboned and on ice when I got home about 2 p.m. or so. A friend says I need to be out there today, with moonrise at 1 p.m. and sprinkles starting around 4 or 5. I'm undecided at this point. I used to study the solunar tables, moon phase, moonrise time and all that. Now, I just go when I feel like it, sit and watch for deer. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there. If you're up a tree, have that safety harness on.

Good morning everyone....been at the shop about 30 minutes now and the old crappy coffee maker just finally got done...I thinks it time for a good flushing or just a new one. The water here at the shop has a ton of rust in it and no softener here to help.

Worked until about noon yesterday then went to the party....big bang and my buddy will be having a new grandson sometime in March I think. We got a bit done this weekend as I had my son here all weekend and his cousin. I put the cousin on the destruction of the stone bucket and he made good progress.

Hoping to get out and sight in my 6.5CM this week before firearm season opens up this weekend.

Hope everyone has a good day and prayers sent to those who are in need of them!

morning all. 14 with a wind chill of -1  not sure what the high will be today, probably around 35mph again, like yesterday! Had snow and wind yesterday, the snow was off and on, all sideways but the wind has blasted now for almost 48 hours.
Not sure what I'll get into today hope it's mostly inside.
After church we took a short nap then went out to the hobby shed and worked. I finished cleaning and fixing a little Rossi pump 22 that the boss man found several years ago in a tree, some had stashed it there along with a camo coat and backpack. Got the little gun working again.:)
Better move along, prayers for our country and the hurting and now homeless.
GOD BLESS. Dean

6:06 am. Snowing hard over in town, wind dieing down here, maybe we'll get some snow too, then the wind can come back up and drift the roads shut!

Good morning from the Lincoln Square Pancake House, 8021 Madison Ave, Indy where it’s 34 and heading for 44. Chance of snow this afternoon. The period formerly known as the work week is starting again. Have a good’n.

good morning folks. It's 32º or thereabouts this morning with clouds and sun. Rain on the way tomorrow I think. Back to work after a busy weekend. I hunted until about 9:45 yesterday morning and didn't see much, some does and fawns. No bucks out and about there, which is extremely strange. I think there was a hot doe somewhere nearby that must have had all the boy's attention. Worked a gun raffle yesterday afternoon/evening and got home about 8PM. Long day. I sure would have liked to sleep in today.

Shane...the lady at the coffee shop next door said the key to good coffee is filtered water and brewing above 195º. Buy a case of bottled water just for coffee. Don't drink that rusty crap.

Well, I better do my time sheet and get to work. Prayers offered. Than you Veterans!

Charlie since I been beating my buddy to the shop for the last 3 weeks I been using bottled water for the coffee. His daughter works with us and say I make better coffee. He thinks maybe he shouldn't drink the water now.

+1 on the vinegar/water treatment. I'll do it at least twice. With your hard water ( from pre bottled days) .........
Had an age appropriate couple over from church last night for dinner and they taught us their version of Rook, E. KY rules. An interesting game and a fun night.

I was all set and tried to pull the trigger on a new '18 Ridgeline. They act like they were made of unobtainium. No deal struck. Glad of it as I see where Subaru is going to toss their hat in the ring targeting the Honda. Hopefully they won't put a mandatory sunroof in the middle grades but doubt if they offer a non turbo'd engine. I like my mom and have no need to carry a "real load" other than shooting gear for Nevada.
Medium high and gray skies are in view, time for breakfast anda cuppa.
Mark another one off Mikey. 😉

TAJ, My daughter is looking at an Subaru Ascent. The top trim line is $45K+. You might have to sell your body.
MotorWeek liked it in their review. You might be able to find the review on line as it was pretty recent.
Somebody on a truck site called the Ridgeline a "pickup truck with a birth defect".
