32° here in Upstate NY this morning with a 100% chance of rain for today. The high temperature for today is to be up to about 42°.

Yesterday was a quiet peaceful day for me, the only thing I did was some family genealogy. Other than that I just relaxed, today will be a little on the road.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning

47 here in NC Ohio with temp dropping to 25 by tonight, almost sounds like Dean's weather. Looks like today will be fire building day, soon as new black pipe goes up for the stove in the pole barn. Right now might be a good day to stalk some breakfast in town. Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Great morning folks,

61° with a line of storms headed here for later in Grandkidville USA.

Christmas lights went up. Grandma & grandpa took the young ones Christmas shopping & that is always a fun time. We upped our game this year. Yep stepped up from the dollar store to the five dollar store. A place call Five Below & the stores are popping up across the country. Mission accomplished, wrapped and next to the tree - I have my suspicions that the month long wait & temptation will be too much.

DD & I have some errands to run. NAvigating traffic with the ******* Limo & camper can be a challenge but it must be done. Only thing I told Deb was if she buys something at Ikea it has to fit through the door of the camper.

Rolling north Tuesday morning with a stop near Goodlettsville to the return a black rifle & visit a bit. I expect we will have some ice cream at McDonald's in Kentucky on Wednesday. Stand by for further messages. ;)

Good morning all. It’s 40 in Indy with a wind warning. Steady 20-30 mph with gusts to 45 and falling temps all day. Lovely! The Colts won their 5th in a row yesterday. Really makes me no difference except I’m glad to see that Andrew Luck seems to have recovered completely. Good on the young man.

Heading out for some pancakes and bacon. Have a good day.

Windy and some wet stuff. Going to get colder
and we have to put in a new steam line in for 1 of our

You all have a gooden today and GOD Bless...

46* and rain for the opening day of deer. It is warmer here at the keyboard. I might go to Field and Stream and meet Ray Charles. He must be the one that set and bore sighted the scopes sold there. At best half of the mounting fasteners were loose and the sight in was barely in the same zip code. One guy who apparently was not a technical type drank the kool aid and bought a 6.5 Creedmore. The base was on backward and he was shooting a good 10 feet high and only had about 20 moa adjustment in a scope that should not have been on the rifle.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 35 in Louisville, going to only 39. It started sprinkling rain about sundown yesterday and we had wind gusts up to 40mph overnight. That explains the two times I awoke because my CPAP shut down briefly. Weather guessers say we'll have steady wind of 15 to 25 today. Tomorrow's low is due to be 24 with high winds continuing. Sure makes me thankful for a warm home and enough income to pay the utilities.

Charlie, I bought myself a Christmas gift on Black Friday. It's one of those square electric smokers, Smoke Hollow brand, I think. It was $99 at Academy. It's not super fancy but does have an electronic thermostat, which is mostly what interested me. I made up some venison snack sticks on Saturday and cooked half in the oven and half in the smoker. They turned out fair, but nothing I'd say I'm proud of. The ones in the oven kept their nice dark mahogany color, while the ones in the smoker stayed more moist and plump. If you'll IM me your phone #, I need to call one of these days to get some processing and smoker tips.

My deer hunting buddy and I teamed up yesterday and got our ladder stands pulled and brought home. No accidents or mishaps. Since I've got him beat by about 100 pounds, he usually volunteers to climb up and release the strap at the top. Sometimes when you do that the stand will slip down the tree 6 inches or so. Talk about a squirt of adrenaline! But yesterday all went well, thank God.

Skru, it sounds like y'all have had a good time in Grandkidsville. Be super careful going home and I hope you don't run into these high winds we're having up this way. A long drive is bad enough without having to fight the wheel all day.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Good morning from rainy PA. It is 44° here. Mom was here early and we sat out front a bit but nothing was moving. Then the rain increased and fog set into the hollow. We walked back the th house and she is set up on my balcony in a ground blind. Actually a pretty good spot. If the rain stops later like they say, we'll head back out to the ladder stand.

Mike, just a tip for you...take a rope around the tree, like a lineman's harness before undoing the straps. Gives you control over the top of the stand. As you climb down, just let the rope slide down with you, while keeping light tension. Been there, done that. Can be exciting. I'll PM you my number

Better get at it. Keeping an eye out front while mom watches out back. Have a good one.

Good morning late check in guys! 33 going to be the high today, and 30 for the next 2 days, BRRR! Got to head out in a bit to Lexington, doc appointment, about 5 hour round trip plus 1 hour in the docs at least. About to go nuts sitting in the house, but afraid to get out much, the plastic implant in my leg is not very strong, so mostly sitting in the house reading and tv, for the next4-6 weeks
