11° here in Upstate NY this morning, right now it is clear out but we have a chance of getting a wintry mix for today and tonight. It is going to be windy all day with gusts to 20mph, we might get up to 1/2" accumulation of snow.

Yesterday was a peaceful day, church in the morning and then loafing the rest of the day. Today well it will be a little different with the start of a new week.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Great morning everyone,

With a dusting of snow on the ground and 30° we show more snow coming here near Halfway USA. Now way the snow will last as the high for today is to be in the mid 40's. That's mid 40's in January.

The RZR & few other things are loaded in the big double wide. Chores in the house were handled too. Much of the day was spent by DD & I trying to shake off the colds we picked up in the past week.

I do believe a shopping trip for supplies in on the task list for today.

Good Morning

34 here in NC Ohio with 50 for a high on the way. Have early PT appointment, I think it the last one and I'm on my own. Checked the Raspberry wine yesterday, was 1.06 and need 1.04 sugar level for a slightly sweet table wine. Added two lb. sugar just to get those yeast babies excited about eating , I don't have that problem!! Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

morning all.. 19 to start the week off, may get to around 34 today. Got up to 38 yesterday with the SW wind blowing.
Church, wally world and Sunday lunch out went well, home for a nice nap. Then went over to the farm shop for a bit and took the torch to a couple wrenches, hope they will reach the back bolt on the starter today.
Better move along, breakfast about ready. Have a good day... even though it's Monday.
GOD BLESS. Dean

good morning folks. Boy, temps are all over the place today. It's 28º here with clouds moving in. We are going to get some moisture over night. Maybe ice or snow mixed in. Then 50 tomorrow? It's gonna get colder as the week progresses though, so I need to get the gasket swapped out on the wood stove door and bring a bit more wood in tonight after work. Didn't do much yesterday. Had Christmas with the in-laws yesterday afternoon. Still on this dang diet and couldn't eat much of anything that was there, except the veggie stuff. Can't believe I passed on mac and cheese. Only down 6-7 lbs in a week. Couple weeks to go to see what my bloodwork says. I can do it...maybe.

Well, I better get my timesheet for last week done and get to work. Prayers sent. Have a good one!

Good morning, GoGo. It's a balmy 49 in Louisville, going to 61 with rain. I was in Western Kentucky visiting my mom and brother this weekend and man were both days beautiful! Highs were 55-60 with bright sunshine. It sure wouldn't break my heart if the rest of the winter stayed mild.

TAJ, on Saturday I shot some of those high-primer .45 ACPs I talked with you about and didn't blow anything up. Looking at the fired primers, you could tell something wasn't quite right because instead of a fairly round dimple, some of them were kind of oblong. I guess that's because the primer wasn't sitting flat and well-seated.

Charlie, I'm suspending my retirement countdown because of the stock market collapse. Who knows, maybe the company will decide it's a little fat on employees and offer some of us old-timers some kind of bailout. In the meantime, I'm gonna live even more frugally than usual and bank every nickel I can.

I've been working from home a ton during the holidays, but I'm gonna visit the office today for a change. Going downtown 2-3 days a week makes the days at home just that much sweeter, don't ya know.

Scott, I hope y'all get healthy soon as it sounds like you're planning a trip south. Don't want you behind the wheel if you're all loaded down on antihistamines and cough syrup.

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

GOOD 45° morning with a chance of rain again today from the monsoon region in South Central Kentucky.
Yesterday I dug a hole. Then I dug another hole. Then my oldest son dug a hole and cut the water line into. Now we know where at least one water leak is.
Today the Backhoe man will dig a hole....from one end to the other and replace the whole water line. Hopefully when Rick gets the new line in, we will have water again and no leaks.

MPC Mike, that raspberry wine is coming right along. I do need to get something bubbling also, but i Quit. ....
Dean, I had a new baby yesterday and the Damcow may have abandoned it, such is with heifers mommas sometimes. I DO hope you get the starter replaced today. Charlie, I feel for you on that diet; if anything tastes good...just spit it out and you are good to go.
Skruske is lay in in provisions for a long winter helping DT build that Wall on the border. Seriously. I bet Skruske could build the whole thing in 3 months.
Off to see the Wizzard? no it was the Damcows .

Good morning all....later than usual this morning. At the shop doing some mess cleanup and odd stuff.
Yesterday my son and I came to the shop and drug the Coronet in the shop and finished taking the headliner pieces and interior chrome out and vacuumed and blew the car out trying to get the dirt and dust out of all the little nooks and crevices. I pulled one of the tire off and it has had all new brake hardware installed just needs some new pads as it looks like the axle seals or gaskets have leaked and soaked the brand-new pads. All the springs were new as well.

It was a damn fight getting the tire off as they put a spring relocation kit on it and stuffed a tire so big in it would not come out from between the drum and the quarter panel lip without jacking between the leaf spring and the frame to gain room. Gonna have to go a little smaller on tires.

Crawling around under it and I was surprised at the very little rust it had...looked like nothing in the wheel houses and just very minor quarter panel spots.

I was gonna load some 20 tac for the AR and noticed I was out of bullets... I had about 10 ea. of 32g and 40g and that was it....looks like an order or trip to the store is in order real soon. I did shoot it at paper Saturday and it shot pretty well, at least and inch with no kind of load work.

Well off to do some more have a good day!
