9° here in Upstate NY this morning, it looks as if it is going to be a decent day. The high temperature is suppose to get up to about 28° and be sunny.

Yesterday was a peaceful day, wasn't that warm though. I didn't do a heck of a lot and that was all right. Today it starts another week where I will be on the road a lot again.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning, 39 here in Trinity, high of 56. Going to work early today as the couple helping me need time off later. We should be nearly finished by this afternoon.
We went for a county drive yesterday, seen some new road and looked at a nice, restorable '48 Studebaker Starlight Coupe. I would like to own one, someday.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

morning all. 15 to start, may get to the thirties today. Stayed cloudy and had some snow yesterday, still don't have over a inch on the ground. Lots different 25 miles west of us in town! Really looks like winter there!
Not much happened yesterday afternoon, nap then went callin' for a while, nothing came in.
Gotta get, Gwyn needs to be in town early today.
Have a good one.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Great morning folks,

37° with stars in the sky here on the edge of Logan Newer Mehico.

The trip so far has been an adventure. Snow from Chicago to Des Moines made DD quite nervous but the truck & 5th wheel rolled along fine and never presented any control issues. Our route took us around most of the bad weather. After about 14hrs on the road we intended to stop south oF Des Moines to sleep. It was then we discovered the furnace would not light. Trouble shooting in the dark & cold didn't improve anything.

We decided to continue driving south on I-35 in a warm truck. We stopped every couple hours for an hour or so of sleep then move on. Around day light somewhere by Wichta Kansas we drove out of any snow. Once the temp got to 35° we took a break and I worked some more on the furnace. That's when I discovered I left my volt meter at home. No luck getting it to fire. Kept going South West through OK & TX. Stopped about 5pm local at a real campground in Logan so we had AC power allowing us to run two small electric heaters.

We will stop in Albuquerque & I will buy a "disposable" volt meter at Harbor Freight. I should be able to find the fault with the furnace then. I've worked on RV furnaces before, not real complcated, just 5 codependent safety systems that all work together to prevent the furnace from making heat.

Meanwhile, coffee needs to be drank.

Morning boys. It's 23º here with sunshine later (I hope) after a snowy Sunday here in southcentral PA. We ended up with about 3-4 inches of wet, fluffy snow. It took little effort to plow the drive and shovel the sidewalk and deck.

Scott, when you double back north/east, swing by and troubleshoot my camper furnace. I can't pay with diamonds and gold, but we can work something out with steel, brass, copper or lead.:D Safe travels.

Have a good one!

Good morning, GoGo. It's 30 in Louisville, going to 36. Would like to see some sun, but apparently it won't happen today.

Didn't do much after church yesterday, but did get in a really nice nap. After that I worked on a red cedar handle for an ulu knife. That's the curved knife you see Eskimos using on the Smithsonian Channel. I was afraid the cedar was going to be too soft, but this knife will be a kitchen utensil, so it shouldn't get beat and banged too much. I'll try to remember to post a photo at some point. I want to get 10-12 layers of hand-rubbed oil finish applied, and that'll take 2-3 weeks.

Y'all have a good day and be safe out there.

Good morning everyone.....made it back home from Ky last night about 7pm. I skipped the trip to Sportsmans Warehouse and just headed back home without the detour.....I'll order some from Powder Valley or somewhere later. The trip down was fun....My trip to Greenburg was slow because the highway still had a lot of snow. From Greenburg to 275 was still flat awful in spots....like miles of clear road then around a corner and theres one lane full of snow....lots of cars pile up in those areas. Once on 75 south it was pretty clear. The trip back was a lot better.

At the shop this morning and haven't done much yet as I just ain't into it yet. I have some parts to weld and also my bed to work on as soon as I get a little more plate delivered.

You all have a good day!

Good morning all. It’s 17 heading for 31 in Indy. No more snow for a while. Don’t think we got any last night, either. Gotta’ find something to do. Maybe a trip to Rural King for another Golden Rod. That means emptying the safe to install it but that should keep me out of trouble for a while.

Have a good day.

Morning all, 33 headed to 35! Got to go to Lexington and do pre-op stuff will take about an hour or so. Go to see the surgeon on the 22 and he will tell me if they are going to do the hip replacement, or another clean out and on crutches for another 3=4 months! I have about a 50/50 chance either way, but I am hopeful I will get the hip put in. Got to run and get some gas, run by the bank on the way to the docs, you all have a good one, remember those in need of prayer, buff out!

We be a bit N of Mikie and it is 27° - however, 70% blue sky... the SUN is out. That's a reason for extra rejoicing. I'll bet Doug and Shane have some of this too.
Our poor Colts were well handled by the Chiefs, plain and simple. Heckuva season's comeback but there was a reason KC had the record they did.
Dinah's and her 3 Sis's are dining out tonight, planning their Spring Cabo trip. She and 3 ladies from church are heading to FL for a week around Valentine's day. Of no interest to me whatsoever as I can lay around here like a beached whale and read w/o paying thru the nose for food and what not. I tried it for two trips, was accepted by the "regulars" but not enough Euchre or Bridge days to make it wortwhile. The pity is, not the first varmint gets shot on these excursions.
Time to get to the shop and play w some 19 brass. Tom out
