-6° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature today to be up to about 4°. It is going to be a cold one for sure today but it will warm up again tomorrow. The worse part about yesterday was the wind of course blowing the snow around.

We had 10" of snow yesterday which was less than they were predicting. We also had some sleet for a covering on it. Today there is a 40% of some flurries.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning from Trinity, 35 and cloudy, high of 58. It was clear last night but I was too tired to stay up and watch the moon. Plenty of hard work this week as I need to finish the laminate flooring in the staff house, by Thursday.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

It was 3 degrees on my way in this morning. Roads were clear though and it was a much more pleasant drive than yesterday was. Got a call from my nephew who bought his first black rifle this weekend. I’m not sure how, but I can’t help but think that Skruske is responsible for this one too.

JR, those cows might bruise their hooves trying to stomp their hay into the mud today.better times are coming though. Supposed to be up to 44 tomorrow.

Make it a good day

Good morning all. It’s 5 and clear in Indy heading for 15. Got a glimpse of the lunar eclipse last night but it was too late and too cold to watch for long. Caught both NFL games yesterday and I’m reminded why I originally stopped watching it. Officiating in both games was awful, no matter which team you liked.

Time to get moving. Those pancakes ain’t gonna’ eat themselves. Stay warm.

Good Morning

Well here I am so not buried yet! 10 below with 5 wind = 23 below wind chill @#$%## I know Dean is having a good laugh but its cold for me!! Hope the young man can make it here to scoop some snow out of the door ways and work on the drift in front of the barn. Its 30 ft by 4 ft deep, it'll take a while with the bucket on the Kubota. I am thankful the power didn't go off, lights flickered some yesterday morning. Be safe stay warm and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Great morning folks,

55° now with 68° for later here in the trailerhood. No mention of wind chill factor here.

I had the ******* Limo up on jacks yesterday morning. I replaced the pads on the front end only to discover a chunk of Michigan rust had slip between the caliper & rotor. Had it apart any way so I went with the new pads. THEN when riding around to get it all re-seated, a rear jammed up. That will get handled this morning. Mountain driving while hauling heavy is tough on the brake system.

We took a ride with Doug's Uncle Mike & Aunt Dorla in the afternoon. Went over to that foreign country to the west, Kalifornia. We checked out Imperial long term campground. It is BLM camping with some factilities. We will be staying there later in February. Early February will find us at the Glamis sand dunes.

Cloud cover in ordinarily sunny & clear Yuma prevented much sight seeing on the moon.

morning all. Was 8 above when we went to bed, 26 now! Wind is coming, pushing warm air in from Arizona. But it's -8 in town this morning. 40% chance of snow today. Maybe.
Loaded some 22-250s yesterday and that's about all.
Better get, breakfast is waiting.
Have a good one, stay warm.
GOD BLESS. Dean

morning folks. It's a balmy 7º here and only 62º in the house this morning! Log house is drafty. I even got up thru the night to fill the wood stove and bumped up the T-stat for the propane furnace a degree as well. Brrr! Lil doe was nestled up tight to the house this morning, under the overhang where the snow wasn't lying and out of the wind. Smart cookie. She's got all the azaleas and other bushes pruned for me. Don't have to worry about that this spring. I don't shoot my does at the house...probably taste like mums or azaleas anyway. Poor critters area having it rough out there. Snow is like an iceberg. I think I'm going to grab a bag of deer feed at the shop today before I go home. Just enough to help them out until this melts.

Had bloodwork this morning, followed by a sausage and egg mcmuffin...I call it an oil change. I'm down 9 lbs in 3 weeks. Haven't cheated on the carbs but a few times. Find out what my numbers are next week at the Dr.

Hey Mikey, scratch off another MONDAY. Have a good one!

G-g-g-g-good morning, GoGo. It's 8 degrees in Louisville, going to 26, maybe. The good news is that I'm working from home. The bad news is that Miss Cindy has to go twist some client's hair this morning, which means I have to make sure her car starts and is good to go. The car's fairly new, so I'm not anticipating a problem. That water-thin oil most of us are using these days makes sense on a morning like this.

Lots of "real work" to do today, so I doubt I'll get in any trouble outside of that.

MPC, I remember snow like you have from my days in Buffalo, N.Y. Stay smart, stay warm, and only do what has to be done.

Late morning check in guys, 20 here up from 12, headed to 30 today, and 49 tomorrow! I need to go get some cow feed, and work in the shop today, but don't see the shop happening. Up last night with a lot of pain in my left hip, supposed to be the good hip, but putting all my weight on it from Oct. 26 on has given me a lot of lower back/hip pain. Go to the docs tomorrow for final word on the surgery, then have it on the 28th, I cant wait to get it put in, even though a lot of pain involved. One good side effect of the stroke, is that my right leg is 80% numb, so I the pain level is decreased considerably! Oh well, make lemonade out of lemons. Remember those in need of prayers, and our country as well, Buff out!

Woke up to 28 this AM. Warming up this week. Seems odd to have a week of nearly 50 degree weather here in Orygun during Winter. The mountains got some much needed snow the last couple of days and it rained like a cow peeing on a flat rock here. Our seasonal creek is finally running again. Always brightens up the surroundings a bit. My sons live about 1000' higher than I do and they got 6" of snow and I got rain. Doesn't break my heart. :)
