Good morning, GoGo. It's 48 in Louisville, going to 62 with rain starting around noon. Warm and wet for about the next 10 days. Should be great for the mud farmers.
Visited my mom in West Kentucky this weekend. On the way home we stopped and had lunch with a couple who've been close friends of mine since college. As several have noted here, really good friends become more and more valuable as you age.
Charlie, check off another Monday for ol' Mikey. I'm going downtown today and tomorrow, then will likely work from home the rest of the week. I don't know what I'll bitch and moan about when Mondays are no longer work days, but I'm sure something will fill that vacuum.
Miss Cindy is thinking about taking her mom on a little vacation and using one of those el cheapo airlines, like Alliant or Allegiant, something like that. She found some flights to Florida for something like $50 per person per flight, so $100 round trip. Great price, but then they also charge $30 per checked bag ... each way! That's still cheaper than the major airlines, I guess. If any of you have experience -- good or bad -- with the discount airlines, I'd love to hear your tips and warnings.
Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.
