24° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature going up to about 33°. It is to be a sunny and decent day today but tomorrow will be different. We have a winter storm watch for tomorrow, we are to get snow, freezing rain and sleet. They say we may get up to about 4" of the mixture.

Yesterday was a nice peaceful day but it is the start of a new week and it looks to be a busy one. I will be on the road most of the day today.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

All the roads around the Scioto river are ice covered , hope they can clear that before the next freeze. Keep the good news coming from all!! Prayers to those and country. Mike

morning all. 19 to start, 30% chance of snow late today, sure is clear out right now. High of around 30 today. Got breezy yesterday but not to bad.
Youngest son made it about noon yesterday, sure is nice to see him and visit. Not sure how long he will stay but several days anyway.
Will try to get some work done in the farm shop today, finish one tractor and then may work on the yellow loader some more. And my farm pickup needs serviced and brakes check, noisy!
Hope to get time to try to call a coyote while Travis is here, he hasn't got in much hunting since they moved from Idaho to Wisconsin.
Time to move along, have a great day, even though it's Monday.
GOD BLESS. Dean

good morning folks. It's 30º here with about 2" of snow on the ground and more to come today thru tonight. 3-8" expected total. Not sure how long I'll be here at work. Busted my hump redoing the bathroom floor yesterday and am moving a little slow today. Wouldn't have been too bad but I had to get into the attic to swap out the fan/light fixture and it didn't go well. Tiny little hole to get in and out and awkward getting in/out. Of course I had to go up/down about 6 times all together. Got it wired up and flipped the switch and "POP". Heard something pop, I think it was the GFCI. I reset it and everything worked fine, then the fan started working intermittently. Back up and down a few more times. It seems to be working fine now. I feel like I've been hit by a train and my sinus's are killing me from sucking in all that insulation/dust. Anyway, the floor looks good, the fan works, and the toilet doesn't leak after I re-set it. I still have some quarter round to tack onto the edges. The poly wasn't dried enough to install.

Gotta run. Prayers sent.

Good Morning from Waseca, 15 now high of 25 today. I had to return home yesterday to clean-up after the flood of '19.
Seems the battery died in the downstairs thermostat and shut off heat to the lower level of the house allowing the radiator pipes to freeze in the office, bathroom and entry way. The size and scope of this flood is less than the flood of '18, thankfully. It still made a real mess in the part of the house that was rebuilt after '18.

Lots to get done today, better get after it.

Good morning everyone! Nice and foggy here at the shop this morning. I got the project done yesterday and moved the dump truck back inside the shop and it was nice and dried out this morning. I need to get the floor sheets brought around to it and laid in. There will be plenty of welding to do after that.

Looks like me and the wife will be Gatlinburg bound this coming weekend, we have to stop in Wilmore and drop off some items to our daughter then head on down to a cabin so I been told. Supposed to go check out the Biltmore mansion I think and who knows what else. If I skip out there would be hell to pay come this spring when I want to go shoot PD's again.

Well off to make smoke and sparks and hopefully no fire like Thursday, I left a broom laying in the bed of the dump truck and welded right underneath of it.....smoked the shop up pretty good!

Well have a good day and good to hear and see Birdog is doing better!

Great morning folks,

50° and very clear with 64° as a predicted high today in the trailerhood.

Mike, Dorla, Debra Dearest & I hosted a chili dinner for the Canadians the helped "rescue" us when Mike's CanAm tore up. Elk chili to be specific. Much laughter carried through the evening.

Today's adventure is a trail ride across the corner of the bombing range, through a mountain pass then back over the top on something called Wood Cutter trail. Deb is already nervous from what she's heard.:D

Morning gang, 45 here headed to a damp soggy 54 today. My recuperation continues, but at a much slower pace than I like, but I have to realize I have not yet been out of the hospital a week. 16 months of surgeries and recovery, it sure gets old, but this is the last one, and I am just wanting to get on with life, as much as I can, have a ton of things need doing around the farm and house, not to mention the shop. You all have a good one, remember those in need of prayers, Buff out!

Monday

Late arrival this Monday morning. It's a sloppy, rainy 34 in Indy heading for low 40s. We got a little snow yesterday but it's slowly melting. Still toiling away in the man cave. I've adopted the philosophy of my old boss at Emergency Management. If you haven't seen it in two weeks, throw it away. I have to stretch the time since I'm not in there every day but the trash can is filling up and the list of stuff that might go away is growing. I've officially run out of room. To make room for more shelves or cabinets, I'd have to get rid of a gun safe or two and that ain't happening. I'm looking for unused space and a way to use it. Hanging stuff on the back of a door now.

Back to wor-wo-w...........Can't say it. Back at it.

Have a good day.
