21° here in Upstate NY this morning, the high today is to get up to about 35°. They were calling for a chance of snow flurries overnight but we haven't gotten any. The day yesterday was quite windy and if it hadn't been for that it wouldn't have been a bad day.

This morning my back is hurting quite a bit and I am going to try and take it as easy as I can. I will be working here at home thankfully as I will be on the road all day tomorrow.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Morning Gents! Its 37º and cloudy here headed for the low 50's. It looks like it will gradually warm up until it rains again near the end of the week.

Had a pretty lazy day yesterday. I put 3 lights back up in the kitchen. That took me part of the afternoon. Work a little, rest a little, ect. That pretty much defines my life nowadays. I had to change 2 ballast out in one of them. They wouldn't light up the new LED bulbs!

Probably go start the tractor after breakfast and start pumping water again. I shut it down Friday night and we took the weekend off.

You'all have a good one.

24 degrees here

What a difference a couple days makes. Just a few days ago we hit 70 and it looked like I would be mowing grass soon. All of a sudden, the temperature dropped like a rock and I’ve been feeding the stove all weekend.
Got out and shot some 9mm with my son Friday evening. Sorted brass and loaded some 300 Blackout yesterday. Looking forward to catching a few fish one evening after work.

Sure would like to hear the true adventures of Otis the Cat. They might even be more interesting than JR’s escapades.......but I doubt it.

Make it a good day. Prayers offered for those in need.

Good morning all. What day is it? April Fools Day, of course. And Monday too. Don’t know if that combination works or not. Guess I’ll find out at the breakfast joint. Anyway, it’s 25 and clear in Indy heading for the upper 40s. Time to get going.

Hope Melissa’s test come back good. Prayers. Have a great day.

Great morning folks,

Cool at 22° and a mostly clear sky here near Halfway USA. High today should get near 46° with sunshine much of the day.

Daffodils are just poking through. Robins are increasing in numbers. The calendar usually foretells of Spring & we get to see it sneak up on us a couple weeks later.

House cleaning in the reloading bunker was how Sunday was spent. Looks like I might have enough brass to get me through the next 42 years. Better continue to stock up just in case. Speaking of brass I'll be sorting brass for the tumbler out in the barn. Some gets wet steel, most gets walnut dry, some gets recycled.

While that stuff gets cleaned up, I also have to change the transmission pan on the ******* Limo, if it arrives today. The RZR needs some more maintenance. I suspect the brake pads need replacement but I'll know for sure once the wheels are off.

I watched about 4 minutes of basketball yesterday - at Debra Dearest's insistence. Michigan State sure knows who put up an exciting show. I must credit Duke, they seem to be a first class group. I'm pretty sure coach K insists.

Good morning everyone like Doug said....not very warm here and still some snow on stuff from Saturdays mess. All you guys talking about mowig are not making me too happy! I want the warm weather but piss on mowing!:D

I just hauled another stone bucket out the door to get picked up..one of the tubes they use to hook with the excavator bucket was only bout 1/2" thick wall. It was busted in many pieces. New tube was 8 3/4" dia. and 1" wall thickness. I hope they don't pop that one!

Going to try to put my bed back on truck today and start finishing it up along with some real work stuff thrown in. Looking forward to the warmer weather later this week as I have a couple rifles I need to get out and shoot.

Hope you all have a good day and prayers for Melissa and Donnie!

morning all. 25 here after a day of snow. But nothing on the ground to show for it.
When we got almost to town yesterday morning it was snowing, and was still snowing when we left at noon. They had probably three inches. Got home and it was just getting started here but snowed the rest of the day, ground was warm enough that only a little stayed on the grassy areas. Nice and wet anyway.
Don't know what I'll get into today, still have one tractor to service but other things that need work too.
I did get fifty more rounds of 223s loaded yesterday, so ready for more coyotes and p-dogs!
Have a great April fools day and be safe and warm too.
GOD BLESS. Dean

good morning folks. It's a chilly 23º here with bright sunshine. Supposed to stay in the high 40's today though. Had a fire going last night in the stove. Burning up the last of what I have in the basement so I can clean up the mess. I finally had time to finish up my firewood yesterday. Mom came up and pulled the lever on the log splitter while I handled the wood. Took about 2 hours and we have everything cleaned up and put away. Shed is completely full, couldn't fit another piece. Got the toilet fixed too. Took about 10 min. to change out the bad fill valve. Of course I made a huge mess in the process. Nothing a few towels wouldn't mop up. Didn't do much else in the afternoon.

This morning I feel a little off. Sinuses giving me trouble. I hope I didn't get any of Lillie's bug she had this weekend. Better get busy. Big day today, need to get stuff done. Then see the tax lady tonight.

Have a good one. Prayers sent, especially for Sweet Polly.

morning all... again. Tried to post almost a hour ago but guess it didn't make it out of the house! 25 to start off the day, a little white stuff on the ground. We had snow most of the day yesterday but the ground is warm and it mostly melted, which is ok, need the moisture more than drifts.
Cleaned the stove pipe in the snow yesterday afternoon, not fun getting up on the tin roof with snow on it! Stove still stinks, will do some more cleaning today it time permits.
Also got some 223s loaded, was almost out for the AR but should be good for another week :D
One more tractor to service and then get on other stuff. Soon I'll be spending all my time working on the damsprinklers!
Better get, have a great April fools day (aka atheist new years).
GOD BLESS. Dean

OK, so my post did get out earlier, guess the joke in on me!!!

Well, Dean seems to have played an April fool joke on himself! Today we woke up to a heavy frost and 25° i bet it got the peach tree flowers that were open.
Its a bright sunny day and no wind to speak of for a change. I got an oil filter for the Ranger so i will be changing oil today and greasing the fittings.

Look who showed up yesterday after a trip to see some woman somewhere. Otis the Kat made it home safe and is flipping his big fluffy tail around. Must have been a successful trip.

Larry Scott, he does indeed know he is a lucky cat as he spent 2 years in the barns and woods evading the Coyotes before i was able to tame him down a bit. Rough life having to catch everything you eat and he was a very skinny cat.

Judy Brown is donating A quilt to something worthwhile and is taking the complrted top to get it quilted.
Its a UK quilt so it will bring top dollar, even though the team lost out in the tournament yesterday.

Heading out to unroll some hay...very little grass yet and the Damcows are biting it off quick.
I hope we all be safe today.
