40° here in Upstate NY this morning under clear skies, the high temperature will be going up to 66° today. It will be a nice sunny day with a 6 to 8mph wind and no rain.

Yesterday was a fairly quiet day for me, I got my yard mowed in the afternoon and other than that I took life easy. Today the plan is to just take life easy.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning all 45 going to 70's sunshine again. No net connection for a couple days, maybe NexGenAccess needs to hire George for a week! I myself am in survival mode with the temps up and down. Thanks to Shane for the pics, sure brings back pleasant memories. Be safe my friends Prayers to all and country. Mike

Good morning from Waseca where it's clear and 48, high about 78. I spent yesterday as planned, in the afternoon I went to Galen's to get a framed Autocar ad. I ended up spending the better part of two hours helping the ladies. Today the sisters and husband are coming so I need to help.
Last evening we took the car for a spin around town with a stop at Dairy Queen.
Hope everyone has a great Friday,
Ken

38 to start with a long weekend in sight. Upper 60's is the hope for a high. We've got a steel delivery coming today and once it shows up, we're calling it a day and closing the doors for the weekend. Next week is going to be a busy one.
Not much to say, worked wood until 8pm last night and I'm not awake yet. Although the pretty traffic girl draws my attention after the weather report.
That's it from here, hope all the guys doggin' have a great time.

Morning Everyone!

Its 66º and partly cloudy here headed for the low 80's with a lite NE wind.

Yesterday was just another day at home. The housekeeper was here and I hid out in the loading room. Finished getting my gear together for the coming weekend. I did get out and do a little shopping for the weekend. Last night I watched the Razorbacks win their 2nd SEC playoff game over LSU.

Todays plan is that I'm waiting on a buddy that will pick me up at 6:00 and we'll head out on our annual Prairie Dog Excursion! The Wife is still in the hospital so please don't think of me as a bad husband. I really have mixed feelings about it. I was planning on staying home but She encouraged me to go, and both boys did to. Both will be around all weekend if She needs anything. If She is released before I get home the oldest Granddaughter plans to come stay with Her. We'll drive up into the Texas Pan Handle, 700+ miles, and plan to arrive in the late afternoon.

Prayers offered for those in need, for our Country and for those traveling for the Holiday.

Y'all have a good one.

Good morning from Indy. It’s 48 heading for 77 on “Carb Day” at the speedway. Cool temps should lead to serious speeds. Once it heats up a bit, speeds drop and drunk fans increase exponentially. Stay away from Speedway, IN today.

Final preps for tomorrow’s cookout/cornhole event will be made today. It’s turned into a dog show, too. We expect 6-8 dogs and 30 people. I don’t know which will be more entertaining but it’s gonna be something.

Have a good day.

Good morning and TGIF gang! It's a chilly 47 and sunny here, going to mid 70's. Nice day, but I gotta work. And I have a gun drawing tomorrow, but at least I still have Sunday and Monday off. Gotta make the donuts! Worked at the shop last night, again it was dead. I picked up some veggie plants yesterday so when I got home last night I fired up the tiller and got the garden ready. Now I have to find time to set things out. Got some asparagus they gave me. Not sure where I'm going to put it but I'll give it a try. Be a few years before it pays off I reckon. Not sure if I'm going to make it all day here or not. Sure wish I was whackin' dogs or on the boat. Maybe get the boat out Sunday. Gotta run!

Have a good one!

Not sure of the temp but it feels great outside. Had a good evening yesterday spreading topsoil ….mostly watching my son spread it.
Glad to see Shane is all set up and ready for action.
Southbound traffic was heavy yesterday and will be heavier today as the Ohio Navy heads to Lake Cumberland for the long weekend. Sam, JR and George may want to shelter in place until the invasion is over.
Be safe and make it a good day for someone.

morning all. 44 with low 70s later and high wind, 40+ gusts.
Worked on sprinklers yesterday, while boss man and crew, ( two grandsons and Rochelle) branded a few calves. They didn't tell me what they were doing,
they try to keep me out of the smoke and dust, or they just don't like my help anymore. Not sure which!!!
I also worked on the plow for a bit yesterday morning, thanks JR for posting my pic yesterday.
Gwyn and I got some plastic on the green house last evening, hope they are still there this morning, got the roof done.
She is off for four days so we can sleep in some, only ten more working days till she is unemployed!!!! Really looking forward to her retirement.
Better get, have a great day and start to the weekend. Prayers for those on the road and those with health issues.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning all....got woke up at 5:30 am to a coyote howling not far from the trailer. Hopefully we'll get a chance to drag the thermals out tonight.
Wind is blowing decent already and is supposed to be 20-30mph...so probably faster.... hopefully our pop up and shower/shifter tent survives. Everything is lashed together so we'll see.
Hope to give my fireball and 204 and good hard work out today!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning all. Yesterday was horrible. Went into the clinic to have a transfusion of two units of blood since I have been very anemic. It was an awful experience. It was supposed to take two hours per unit, but it wound up taking 6 1/2 hours total. What a cluster. The infusion room was so cold and drafty, couldn't even get a nap in all that time. I needed four blankets to be even slighly comfortable. In the last two hours, I remembered I had my boonie hat rolled up in the pocket of my jacket, so I dug it out, put it on and that made a big difference. Looked stupid as could be, sitting in the clinic all wrapped up and wearing a hat inside. I hope I don't catch pneumonia from the cold. Just the usual for today, and be safe.

TGIF, GoGo! At 0821 it's a nice 54 degrees in Louisville, sunny, and going to 77 today. Should be dry all this holiday weekend.

Yesterday I had to go see my primary doctor to get her surgery release on my 6/6 knee surgery. As usual, she said I was a fine specimen of manhood. When I got home, I ground some wheat and made two loaves of bread. Only five ingredients and I somehow forgot the salt. Doesn't seem to have hurt things too much. I also worked up some homemade cream cheese that came out a little more like find-grain cottage cheese. May try to add a little cream and mix it real hard, see what that does. Then last night I met my old quartet buddies at a wing joint called Roosters. Fifteen bucks for 10 wings. With a beer and potato wedges my tab came to about $25 plus tip. Insane. They were pretty busy, but I can see why lots and lots of restaurants have gone out of business.

When I saw Shane's photos, it brought back a flood of memories. Most of my trips were with Greyfox. He and the Professor stayed in his camper and I slept in a little tent off to the side. Most mornings I was awakened when Rick fired up his big red generator to run the Mr. Coffee. I usually laid there a while, shivering in the morning cold before dressing and walking over to the camper. I didn't hurry, because I knew it would take a few minutes for the coffee to drip through. Good times, and I hope they have a stellar time the next few days.

Y'all have a good'n, be safe, and lift up prayers for our friends with physical ailments, those who are traveling, and the group fighting off the PD invasion.

Gonna finish up with a few photos from PD Safaris past:

Good Morning! Mr. Charlie already gave the weather for our area. We're still dry with only a slight chance of rain over the weekend. We could sure use some!

I took today off with the idea that I'd go for a hike, but then my Dad called last night and said he wanted to go golfing. I put the hike on hold until Sunday after church, as we now have a tee time at 1:30 tomorrow. It will be the first time golfing since last year so I know we'll hit a lot of funny looking shots. Should be fun though, just gotta keep expectations low.

Today I'll just take it easy. I'll get around to sighting in a couple 22's, and I have laundry to do. I also need to put gas in the car. May go for a bike ride later this afternoon. We'll see. Make it a great day everybody!

Just ask yourself how there can be a Carb Day when there probably hasn’t been a carb near that track in 30-40 years. 😁

Oh, man, you need ME there, Shane, but I can talk you through how to skin and fry it. I think you missed out on the two I fried out there years ago. Just put it on ice and Rick will be there soon. 😁

Sorry, Wade, but you wasted two rounds there by not waiting for better alignment. Ha!
