Well dang, that must have been some fish. And she'll have the scars to prove this whopper of a fish tale.

I’ve heard of this happening on several occasions. Swimmers have been bit on the Chippewa Flowsge in Wisconsin . Worlds largest Muskie camefrom there. It was over 70 inches long. A couple years ago onLeech Lake, MN a kid was sitting on the end of a dock with his feet in the water kicking and splashing and a large fish bit him in the foot. There was sightings of a large Muskie in the area but no one knows for sure if that is the one that bit the child.
Fish that are 4 ft long or better don’t exhibit any fear , especially in an area that lacks a fair amount of top water activity. They are at the top of the food chain in their world.

I know guys who fish for Musky all the time and they tell me you really have to work at catching a really big one.

That’s why the call it the fish of 10.000 casts.
you may have all kinds of follows to the boat, but the strikes are few and far between.
