Our youngest son and his wife gave my wife and I a book on Grandparenting as a gift.....followed with the word that Brian and Tina are expecting a child in August.

I can't wait to have a little varmint...or a few or them...to spoil!!!! This will be the first.

Way to go, BCB! I'm gonna beat ya though: my first little granddaughter is due in about three weeks. She'll be called Rachel. (Boy is it sure a funny feeling to look at one's own VERY pregnant daughter! Even if she IS well and truly married!)

My secret wish was to be a Grandpa before I turned 60. Gonna make it by a month. WHEW!
