He called me from his cell at 1pm He drove back into Carson City because they had run out of shot shells! He had only brought one box of steel shot with him, thinking it would be a typical day in the duck blind.

But it is snowing like crazy there, and very cold. My son is using a feeder call, and his buddy is blowing on a mouth call, and my boy says the redheads are just dropping out of the sky like crazy.

Shooting conditions are poor, though, with high wind blowing the snow, so visibility is nil. Normally my son is a great shot, and does way better than just a couple of ducks out of a box of shells. I told him to switch his MOD chock for an IC, and use Steel #3 shot instead of #1

Anyway, he was as excited as he could be, and was anxious to head back to their blind ASAP. He was virtually breathless, he was so excited.
