Other than Remington, where could I send this rifle to have a new (complete) bolt fitted to it. This rifle is a right hand youth model .243 synthetic. Also, anyone have an idea of what this should cost? TIA

There are usually bolts floating around on eBay. Most gunsmiths should be able to fit the bolt easily.

You could buy a new rifle for what Remington wants to do it.

Dave Kiff at pacific tool and guage is producing new Remington bolts.

UPS lost a bolt on a package that I sent to a customer. The package was ripped open in the middle and the bolt was gone. I bought a new 700 varminter and used the bolt out of it to replace the bolt on his rifle. I sent a the new 700 to Remington without the bolt and had them replace the bolt. Cost was $185.

I called them last year and was quoted $365 + shipping
