When it rains it pours. Up on the roof repairing some hail damage when swoosh...lost my footing. Hit the ground (from the first floor thank God!) and just found out I fractured my pelvis and have a "huge" hematoma on top of the rear right pelvis bone, where I apparently landed.

Getting married a month from today so I got dancin' to do! Id appreciate a few prayers my way for quick recovery.

And im case anyone is wondering.. the pain is bad. Probably worst I have ever felt

Thanks everyone, much appreciated, really. I strongly believe in the power of prayer.

And no Steven I did not get finished. Whole second story to inspect & repair but that will not be done soon. The pain now is a lot less after the 5" long screws were inserted, but it's not gone and it laughs at Tylenol and naproxen.

I won't take narcotics so I am in for a long, slow recovery. ZERO weight on my right leg for 6 weeks. BUT I tell you what...I am walking down that aisle August 18th!

I hope this helps. Since I had Surgery in Jan they started me off on "Hard Pain Pills". For the first 3 months. Then They got me to move over to Gavapentin and Naproxal Sodium. It blocks nerve pain and does not affect you like the stuff you don't want to use. Ask your Dr. about it. I fell off a ladder about 7 years ago, about 12 ft but the ER and my early care left me with a hole in my foot until this past January. They got it closed but had to remove most of my heel bone to do it. I am still on the Gavapentin/ Aleave 1 each as needed and 2 each at night, to get to sleep. They do work ! As your Dr about them, Please.
