Well, there are certainly lots of V-Max fans here, so a Z-Max is welcome, too. I'm in Louisville, KY, and have made the South Dakota trek quite a few times. I tell the libs I'm going there to run a prairie dog pup flight school, where dreams take flight. You should see their faces when I explain it. Ha!

i have as well doug. the z-max certainly makes a prairie dog a little easier on the wallet. I've done most of my shooting near wall around the Badlands. Once on the rosebud reservation

Welcome to the board Z-Max. Glad to have you along. I farm up here on the windy praire of the northern Red River Valley. Wood Chucks are almost non-existent up here. On occasion we see one after the farm dog killed it. They just don’t seem to live here.
The guys on here are a great bunch of guys and there is a lot of knowledge amongst them. I’m sure you will enjoy it.

I feel your pain 2 feathers... I have to travel 2 and half hours to get to Good groundhog populations.. I live near farm land. And there was a lot of Beans planted this year. I did a lot of driving around glassing and knocking on doors.. for whatever reason there aren't many here. Occasionally I'll see one. I did pretty good down state. But spent a lot of money on gas doing it
