Put some dryer sheets around the camper and in any compartment you don't want mice. Helps a lot. Deer are probably going to move mid day going into this full moon if they aren't being pushed. Hopefully we can see a few this weekend in MD and PA
Nothing moving deer hunting
We took the day off to enjoy Janet's fine cooking. I've only seen one deer, it was heading for my daughter and grandson, so I let it go. It didnt make it to her. Last night though my othet daughter and I chatted with an older guy as we were heading out. Just before closing time, he shot his first deer in 10 years. We helped him dress it and drag it out, then we hauled it to his house and hang it since he didnt have a truck and no room in his Saturn. Like I said, we didnt have anything better to do anyway. Maybe we'll need help with a deer yet this year.
The place we hunt could really use some cattle to beat the brush down to a manageable level! One cant walk thru most areas.
On the downside.... at the campground where we have the camper set-up, we've somehow attracted the camper's first mouse. We had some napkins in a drawer, in the morning I got something out of that drawer, at supper time the napkins were torn up with droppings mixed in.

But I have (and have had) dryer sheets in the small crevices including that drawer. We hope they'll move. They haven't moved for a week. Oliver (that we helped) said he planned on walking thru the area in the morning.
