Beautiful rifle, Dog. Got a couple of questions. In the photos of the complete rifle the top of the action appears flat at the rear, but rounded at the front. So, do you have to build some kind of custom scope mount or rings for that? Also, in that bottom photo in your first post,the top of the action appears rounded both fore and aft and there aren't as many screw holes. Did the action get some machining after that or what? Do you have a photo of this beast with scope mounted?

Looks like a real shooter. Keep us posted on how she shoots.

Standard 700 holes top and side

All 700's are flat in rear and round in front where scope bases fit.

The bottom the camera is too low to see top holes. That hole Is the

gas escape port
