I need some help with Microsoft Internet Explorer.
When I click on a link that requires a new window to open, it opens but nothing is on it, no address, no text, no site, only blank spaces.
I just started using Explorer last week cause Netscape got outdated and my hard drive wasn't big enough to update.
I am still using Windows 98SE.
I figure there is an easy fix to the problem if I only know where to look.
Thanks,
Bill

Go here: http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win98 and search for some key words.

They have section just for Windows 98. I have XP and have found a solution to every problem I've ever had.

This is a job for Crap Cleaner.

Crap Cleaner is great software. It cleans all the un-necessary files out of Windows 98SE and Windows XP computers. It is freeware. Here is the site where you can download it: http://www.ccleaner.com/download/

There is more info about it on my Computer Page: http://www.varmintal.com/acomp.htm

After you clean out the junk files you will have enough room to download and install Mozilla FireFox which is a very fast and efficient browser. I have been using it for about 2 years and there is no reason to go back to IE. Both FireFox and CCleaner run well on Windows 98SE computers. I have both on all of my Win 98SE computers.
