I know I'll get the right answer here...I always do. :D . I bought a great big jar of pickled okra. Love the stuff. Since it is pickled in vinegar does it have to be refrigerated after opening or does the vinegar protect it from spoiling?

Vinegar and salt is a way to cure and preserve food stuffs. By refrigerating it the cold contributes to the crunchyness of it. For example sourkraght or pickles.
Does the Okra have salt in it or just vinegar. If it’s low on salt it best be refrigerated. A couple days, left out on the table is not going to hurt it. Keep the cover on tight.
