And they make a couple others that even have a pin you put in the recoil pad for vertical storage so it doesn't squash. They do work. Ask the trap shooters three events a day is 300 plus rounds.
LIMBSAVERS are very good to Darrel........in fact,i think they are a bit better than the Pachmayr.

I agree with Dana, the limbsaver is a bit softer, so on a shotgun they are definately my pad of choice. The Pachmayer finishes "better" so when it comes to a pretty piece of wood or a more $$$ firearm I use the Decelerator.
