Gabriel, thanks for all the pictures. I used to go to some steam shows when I was much younger and could get around okay. I friend of my wife's lived in Mt. Pleasant,IA, and have gone to the the Midwest Old Tresher's convention a couple of times, a few stationary engines but lots of old stream tractors and threshers. Also used to go to a steam show in Battleground, IN.

When I was a kid, I also had one of the one-lung gas engine with external exhast valve springs, pushrods, a governor and a kick starter. I think it was originally meant to be a water pump long before REM came through and electrified the farms.

Thank you for going to the Trouble of SHARING this event with us. I have always been interested but never close to an event to attend.
My favorite is the Cross Cut Saw. I know a few on here that need one of those.

It was a lot of fun and well attended. We got there at 7:30 and left at 10:30 before the heat. The one running the water pump along with the shiny green paint that says Ruston is owned by a friend I worked with doing finish work for over 20 years.
